I stood there staring at the notes that she had reached out and grabbed from my pocket. I didn't know what to say, my eyes still planted on the three small sticky papers she had within the palms of her hand.
Silence filled the air as I continued staring at Iris reading the notes outloud.
"You've driven me to my last nerve Cleo, Carrie. How many times do I have to tell you Neveha belongs to me, Carrie. Fine you don't care prepare for a day filled with burning fun, Carrie." Iris said finishing the last of the notes. "Why we're you hiding these!?"
My heart was beating fast, I never thought they would find them. With my breaths getting heavier, I didn't say a word.
"Nevaha, do you know who this Carrie is?" Gia said while slowly walking towards me.
As she came face to face to me she stopped and stared waiting for a response. Still not saying a word I looked at the ground and nervously shook. I wouldn't be lying if I said I didn't know her, I met her in the hallway one time. It's not like I became her buddy buddy with her.
I slowly raised my head now facing her and answered the question.
"No, I don't."
She smiled at me and turned towards Stevie and Iris.
"See, she doesn't know her, none of us do so let's try not to get mad at each other." Gia then retrieved the notes from Iris's hand and raised it up. "This is evidence, we can give it to the cops and they'll lock her up leaving Nevada here with nothing to be worried about."
"Yeah." Stevie said.
"Whatever." Said Iris.
"It's Nevaha." I stated.
Stevie, Gia, and I laughed while making towards the bench and sitting down again.
Iris on the other hand was already sitting there with her face glued to her phone.
We talked and talked until I read my watch and realized; I was awake at four o' clock am, and I was out with friends without my parents permission. At that I nearly screamed, got up from the park bench and said my good byes to Gia, Stevie, and Iris. But before I could leave, Gia stops me, pulls me into a hug and whispers in my ear that left me shock, confused, and really terrified.
"I don't believe a single word you say." With that she smiles deeply and walks back to sit on the bench.
They all wave at me and I smiled softly with widen eyes staring at Gia.
I walked a little faster than I should have, I was just so confused why did Gia say that? Did she know about Jayla or how I was at an M.I. for the past two years and not at a boarding school?
I began slowing down my pace and walked slowly towards my house. I got my key, carefully put it in the door and turned the knob. It opens up with no sound coming out. I close the door behind me and tip toed up the stairs. I, at last, reached my room and open it to find my little sister sleeping in my bed. After I changed my clothes I get inside the covers ever so gently trying not to wake Savannah up. As I get comfortable I feel an arm wrap around mine and a head lay on my shoulder. I smiled softly and closed my eyes falling into a everlasting sleep.

"Nevaha."
..."Nevaha?"
..."NEVAHA!"
"Yes!" I screamed as I popped my eyes open.
"Good morning." Savannah grinned as she pulled my covers right off.
