You have enhanced senses and telekinesis, you're expert in weapons, martial arts and hand to hand combats but you never told anyone about it.

You and Maria became bestfriends when she joined your group of friends; Ted, Marshall, Lily and Barney (let's just pretend that no one has feelings for anyone except Marshall and Lily ofc). You knew that there is something about Robin that you couldn't quite put a finger on so you just ignored it. The two of you became really close and eventually became bestfriends.

One time you went to Robin's apartment to hang out but when you were about to knock on her door, you heard that she was on call with someone named Nick and heard everything about her mission. You now realized why she always has a gun in her purse and all those other weird stuff she's been doing like that one time Marshall told you that he owed Robin a 'no questions asked' so he helped Robin escape from those mysterious group of acrobats in unitards and they were blowing darts at them that made his vision blurry for a little while.

After the call, you went in and confronted her and offered to help since you care about her a lot. She denied it and declined your offer at first but you showed her your abilities to convince her. You then found out that her real name is Maria Hill. And of course, since you helped her, Nick found out about you and they've been bugging you to join the avengers.

After Maria's mission, she stayed in touch with all of you, especially you.

Y/n's POV
I had just gotten home from Lily and Marshall's, I kicked off my shoes and headed to the kitchen to get something to drink. While I was going through my fridge, I felt someone's presence...

I sighed, "What the hell did I tell you about breaking into my apartment?" I said facing Nick.

"Is this how you always greet your guests?" He asked, smirking.

"Well, you broke into my apartment again. And we both know that you're not here to just visit... so..." I shrugged.

"Okay, fine... but come on, Y/n... We really need you in the team. Just think about it–"

I cut him off saying "I have already thought about it."

"And??" He said waiting for me to continue.

I sighed and said, "I'll join your team." He grinned and as he was about to say something, I spoke up again, "But only because it's getting really annoying that you keep breaking into my apartment just to ask me to join your team. And of course, I want to make sure my bestfriend is safe. Where is she btw? I'm kinda surprised she's not with you today."

"She's handling some paperwork... Well then, I'm sure Agent Hill will be glad to hear this." Nick replied.

"Yeah, don't tell her yet. I wanna surprise her." I smiled, thinking how my bestfriend would be genuinely surprised and happy knowing she really wanted me to join the avengers and that we'll be able to hang out more.

"Alright, great. I'll send someone to pick you up tomorrow at 8am." He said walking towards the door. "and pack your things you'll be staying at the HQ with the rest of the team."

"Wha- I- Nick!!" I sighed, shaking my head, and thought to myself, that damn pirate dude.

The next day
Here I am on my way to the avenger's HQ. I'm usually very confident but right now I'm a little nervous but still excited. I mean, these people don't know me. Only Maria and Nick know about me so I hope I make a good impression.
