There was a girl.
A little dragon warrior they called her. Because even while being only eight years old herself she would fight all the boys to get what she wanted. And you always knew when the fight started because she would roar as a stormcutter itself would, when going for attack. And well, believe me when I say, living on the Storm Peaks you hear that quite a lot.. at least for the past two years. The Storm Peaks used to be something close to paradise, at least as much paradise as you can get while living in..well peace or maybe I wouldn't say peace, more like a truice between the flying creatures and vikings.
But it all fell apart when the village got attacked in the middle of the night. It was like the dragons forgot who the people where, they would attack a viking, who gave them food just a night before. They would go for the children they used to play with while bored, it was like all of their memories disappeared, like they never even existed. And then the next day, they would act like nothing happened, like they didn't just kill a quarter of the villagers the other night.
And of course, once thrust is broken, it is hard to repair it. So when the dragons came to get their food the next morning, they didn't expected to get attacked by a bunch of angry vikings, screaming their rage out.
And it only went downhill afterwards.
It wasn't even one time thing, no they would attack at least once every week.
So here we are, two years later, dragons and vikings still in war between each other, none of them knowing why it even started.
And that is also the main reason for a ship sailing right for the Berk with a chief and his daughter, pride of the Storm Peaks, with it."Come here you little dragon warrior." Said the proud chief and a father, while lifting up his only child.
The little girl giggled, while braiding her father's dark beard. "What is it dad?"
He pointed out in the sea to a little speck, that was getting bigger and bigger with every minute. "You see that island right there? That's Berk and there's village there, where a good friend of mine lives, he is the chief of their village. And almost as good warrior as me." He added the last one with a chuckle.
She chuckled, but her face turned into a curious looking one.
"Dad, what are you trying to say?"He let out a deep breath, his face becoming serious.
"I trust you, you already know why exactly we are sailing for Berk and why am I taking you with me?""We are sailing to Berk because we are going to attend a chief's meeting about dragon raids and I'm coming with you, because I'm gonna be the next chief of Storm Peaks." She exclaimed proudly, that she already knew and won't have to listen to the long introduction to what's going on by him.
He nodded proudly. "You really are your mothers daughter.
Yes, we are having a meeting to discuss the problem with dragon raids, since they are getting more and more dangerous and increasingly more frequent. And yes, you are comming with me so you can learn how to be a proper chief. So I expect you to behave appropriately to your position as a chief's daughter. ""Don't worry dad, I will." She replied with a proud smile.
Fast forward to a few hours, the ship docked and the crew of twenty close councillors, including the chief and his daughter, got of and unloaded the gifts for their host.
As a chief and a future chief, father and daughter were the first to get off the ship and made their way to meet the Berks famous red bearded chief. And his not so famous son."If this isn't Stoick the vast himself. You've gotten thin my friend, had the dragons ate all of the stock?" The earthy brown bearded man joked.
"Ahh Reighar my friend, it's good to see you again" They went for a, what a person could only describe as a manly hug.
