There was no doubt about it, that person Shoto had met was Jiro. Even though he tried to maintain his usual state of cool and emotionlessness, his legs still quivered from the very thought that he had met Jiro, and did nothing. The whole class had to report to UA one and a half hours before their patrols started, which was around 6:30am, thankfully. Shoto gripped the strap of his bag tightly. That man. The one who effortlessly defeated Death Arms, went ahead to watch his own crime scene?! Even for a villain, that was unthinkable. And that was probably exactly why he had hung around. Anyways, who would expect a villain to watch the police carry out their investigations while drinking coffee on a nearby bench? Certainly not Shoto. Shoto looked at the familiar building he had spent a few years studying at. He sighed, this meeting won't be too pleasant. "Todoroki!" Shoto looked behind from where the voice was coming from, it was Ida apparently. He took a few deep breaths to compose himself and showed his cool self again. "Yes, Ida?" Ida pat Shoto's shoulder lightly, "See you at the meeting! I would like to know what happened during your patrol!" With that, Ida used his quirk and took off. Shoto wasn't as close to Ida as Midoriya was to him, but they were on pretty friendly terms, just not too good at keeping up conversations with each other. Shoto grimaced at the thought of the meeting, he would have to explain the man on the bench and his theories if they have any possibility of catching Jiro.

The automatic door opened with a slight hiss as Shoto stepped into the half-empty room. He took a seat in between Mina and Midoriya. Ojiro looked at Todoroki, "How was the crime scene?" Shoto hesitated before calmly stating, "Mina and I will tell you all during the meeting." Kirishima gasped, "You saw the crime scene? Woah, so manly!" Tokoyami frowned at Kirishima's reaction, and Shoto could agree. This was no joking matter. Shoto sighed and slumped on the table surface. Midoriya whispered very quietly to Ida beside him, "Does Todoroki look a bit... Exhausted?" Ida frowned and stared at Shoto while Midoriya continued, "He isn't the type to be endlessly energetic, but he isn't exactly the type to be tired either." Ida bit the inside of his lip and nodded, "Maybe since he patrolled very late last night, and he has to wake up pretty early today, that's why he's tired." Midoriya looked down, both of them knew that although that could be the reason, it doesn't seem complete.

"Aizawa is rather late today." All Might frowned and looked at his watch, ten minutes in fact. The automatic door opened, and the familiar yellow sleeping bag came into view, "I'm here." Shota unzipped his bag and climbed out. "Let's start." He held a copy of the report, "Has everyone read it?" They nodded, they took the time to read it while Shota was not here yet. Shota nodded, "Good then. So we all understand the threat we are about to face?" Everyone nodded solemnly. Shoto bit his lip, he really didn't want to explain his meeting with Jiro, but he had to. He raised his hand. "Yes Shoto?" Aizawa looked at Shoto. He slowly stood up and started explaining. He talked about the piece of evidence that was left behind at the scene and how he and Mina just copied it. Upon hearing that, Mina took the paper out and put it at the centre of the table while All Might boomed, "Hmm, not exactly the right thing to do, Todoroki-shonen! But this is an important piece of evidence!" Shota nodded, and read it out. Half of the class were disgusted and the other half were just horrified about the murders. Shoto waited for the din to die down, "Aizawa-sensei, something else happened that night." Shota tilted his head, "Oh?" Shoto pursed his lips and nodded, "There was a man, he wore a white Anbu mask with red and blue highlights. He was sitting on a bench drinking coffee not too far from the crime scene. He told me something about how villains caused so much trouble these days." All Might nodded, "They do." Shoto's face twisted into a big scowl, "After that, he threw his cup into the bin and went down the street. A few metres away, he waved at me goodbye... It was quite dark that night so only then did I notice that there was a detail of the mask I never quite saw." Everyone had already unconsciously leaned in slightly, "There was a flame, on the top left hand corner of the mask, reaching where his eyebrows would be." Upon this, the whole room fell dead silent. Mina gasped and looked at Shoto rather incredulously, "Why didn't you tell me?" Shoto flatly answered, "All of you would know sooner or later." Shota looked extremely troubled, while All Might's signature smile had dropped considerably. Shota stared at Shoto deadpan, "Why would Jiro do that?" Shoto looked down, "I don't know, Aizawa-sensei. Maybe because no one would expect it?" All Might cut Shoto off, "It's like he wants to get caught." Uraraka looked nervous, "Why would he?" All Might shook his head, "I-I don't know..." Shota crossed his arms, "For now, let's just tighten the patrolling in Chofu, that's all we can do for now until we can accurately predict where Jiro would strike next." Shoto sighed, this was exactly how he had dreaded this meeting to end. Well, what can he do about it?

I realized I didn't add an author's note, so I'm just going to add one on the fly. Ppl on fanfiction.net said this was a interesting direction, but there were only 19 stories on this crossover and this is my first time using wattpad so i have no idea. If it is an interesting direction, just remember this:

I came up with this story when I came up with broken villain quotes. I cried for the first night and cried again the second night. I know, it might sound quite exaggerated but no seriously, this fic was born from my tears of depression.
