Hearing this, Cathy's heart turned cold, "Sister Allen, what do you mean?"

Allen gave Cathy a tactful look. "Don't you know how our sales department usually signs customer lists? Anyway, I already told you. Take down today's business or get your salary deducted. You can do it yourself. Get out!"

Cathy bit her lip and left.

Three months' salary plus year—end bonus added up to more than 50,000 yuan. If Cathy gave up, it would be no different from cutting her flesh and blood.

Moreover, if she refused today, she wouldn't know how many troubles she would have in the future according to Allen's petty temperament.

She would lose her job sooner or later.

Cathy raised her hand and pressed down on her forehead, which was still a little painful because of the high fever. In her heart, she gradually had the thought of risking her life to accompany the drinks…

If she succeeded, she could get another hundred thousand yuan.

However, once this kind of thing started, it would not be so easy to stop in the future.

She went back to her room and washed her face with cold water.

Feeling that the pain in her mind had eased up a lot, she raised her eyes and looked at her pale face in the mirror. Her fingers, which were propped up at the edge of the washstand, slowly tightened.

But if she didn't risk it, how long would it take for her family to pay back the 10 million that they owed Randy?

Why didn't we gamble? If we succeeded, we'd definitely get a promotion and salary increase in the future.

As long as she paid off the 10 million yuan, she would be able to stand straight and speak openly in front of Randy.

Because she doesn't owe him anything anymore.

After thinking about everything, Cathy sent a text message to Allen, saying that she had thought it through and would perform well tonight.

Allen quickly replied, "Keep up the good work. I've always been looking after you. As long as you succeed tonight, I'll definitely promote you in the future."

Cathy sneered in her heart, but she still thanked her...

Randy closed the folder in his hand and turned to look at the floor—to—ceiling window.

Beneath the window were cold towering buildings, endless streams of vehicles and people.

After staring at them for a minute, he finally moved and pressed the pager on the table.

Assistant William quickly knocked on the door and entered, "Boss?"

Randy expressionlessly instructed, "Book me a ticket to the near city. Now."

William was stunned, but he quickly reacted and replied, "Alright. President, should we inform the general manager of the branch over there?"

Randy's eyes darkened, "Well, tell them that I will personally participate in tomorrow's land investment."

He'll be there, just for work.

It's not because of some disgusting woman.

William gently closed the door and went out. The office was completely quiet.

Randy lowered his eyes and looked at the phone on the table. He couldn't help but recall what maid Cindy, the housekeeper, had said when he called villa this morning.

"Miss Cathy's expression is very bad. She seems to have a high fever. She hastily went to the airport without taking any medicine. She hasn't returned yet…"

William moved very quickly, and his ticket was booked the nearest flight.

Randy immediately set off and arrived at the city's surface in the evening.

The general manager of the branch has arrived. He immediately greets him respectfully. After a courteous official greeting, he says warmly, "We have booked a private room at the Crown Restaurant to welcome you. Several department managers of the company have also arrived. They are all waiting for you in the private room."

Randy nodded expressionlessly and said indifferently, "Lead the way."

Even if he didn't have much interest in this kind of meal, he couldn't reduce the amount of money he needed to cope with it. After all, this was the rule of society.

Several luxury cars with different brands drove to the Crown Restaurant under the envious gazes of others.

Randy's car was in the middle. It was blocked for a few minutes before entering the restaurant.

He had to slide the car in front into the garage before he could get in.

In his boredom, his gaze casually fell out of the car window, but he accidentally saw Cathy's figure at the distant door.

She wore a black OL dress with slender waist and limbs. The pair of long legs under the skirt were slender and symmetrical. Her skin was so white that it could reflect light in the night. She stood beside a shriveled middle—aged man with a sweet smile on her face.

Randy's expression instantly darkened.
