Cathy immediately stood up and looked at the door.

The tall and handsome figure of the man finally appeared.

Sophia lifted her beautiful and pure face with an innocent look and gently shouted, "Brother Randy …"

Randy raised his hand and rubbed the top of her hair. There weren't many expressions on his face, but when his gaze fell, he saw Cathy in the room. He immediately frowned and a cold expression appeared in his eyes.

"Why are you here?"

Cathy clenched her fingers tightly and walked towards Randy. She said softly, "I have something to explain to you…"

When she said this, her voice involuntarily became softer and softer, and her lips were filled with bitterness.

Actually, it was useless to explain. She already knew in her heart.

She just wanted to find him.

He didn't want this man to ignore him from now on.

"Get out of here." This was Randy's answer, and there would never be any change in his indifference and cruelty.

Cathy bit her lower lip tightly, "Randy, can't you just listen to me?"

Randy's eyes were cold and heartless, "Cathy, I told you to scram."

Sophia looked back and forth at the two of them, especially Cathy's gloomy expression. She gloated in her heart and asked innocently, "What's wrong? Did Sister Cathy make any mistakes?"

Randy's face was as cold as ice, and did not look at Cathy.

"Cathy, don't wait for me to call the servants to chase you away." After he finished speaking, he directly missed her and walked towards the restaurant in the room.

Cathy clenched her fingers tighter and tighter. Her fingernails pierced deeply into the soft flesh in her palm. The sour feeling in her heart rushed to her forehead along with the blood. She blurted out, "Randy, if you really don't want to see me so much, or even talk to me, why don't you just divorce me?"

Randy's footsteps stopped.

In fact, the atmosphere in the room instantly calmed down.

Even Sophia was stunned.

In the past three years, Cathy had suffered a lot in front of Randy. She knew a little about it, but this woman's mouth was very closed. She would never say a word of divorce, even if she was angry. She just silently endured it.

But today, the sun rises from the west?

This woman actually took the initiative to say divorce?!

Cathy slowly turned around, her tearful eyes looking at Randy's back, waiting for an answer.

After a while, Randy turned around.

Cathy hurriedly raised her eyes to look at his face, hoping that the divorce would make his face, which had always been cold, look more different, even if it was anger.

However, he was still as calm and indifferent as ever, not caring at all.

No matter what Cathy said, she would never attract his attention.

"Cathy, are you worthy to propose a divorce to me?"

Cathy was speechless, unable to utter a single word.

"You are something I bought at my expense. Whatever I want you to do, you have to do it for me. You don't have the right to choose in front of me." He was clear and calm, word by word, without the slightest bit of emotion.

Cathy's face was deathly pale as her gaze descended powerlessly.

She didn't have the strength or courage to look at his face again.

"Now, get out of here." He indifferently threw down these three words and turned around to continue walking towards the dinning hall.

Cathy was stunned. She didn't remember how she got out. When she regained her senses, she was already standing at the side of the highway bridge.

Beneath the bridge was a rolling river, with her hand on the railing, and the strong wind on the river blew her hair.

The lights in the tall buildings by the river were mottled and shattered on the surface of the river.

Cathy lowered her eyes and looked at the dark river in a daze.

Her mind was stuffed with thoughts, and her heart was also blocked and uncomfortable.

After enduring for a while, she was still unable to get rid of those negative emotions. So, she went to a nearby commissary and bought a dozen bottles of wine. She lay on the railing of the bridge and couldn't help but cry while drinking.

The night was getting darker and darker.

In the endless traffic, a familiar car slowed down and drove across the bridge.

The driver's eyes were sharp and he caught a glimpse of Cathy by the bridge. What a coincidence. When she saw her, Cathy's hands were on the railing and her body was tense, as if she could jump off at any time.

The driver was shocked and blurted out, "Boss, Miss Cathy is going to jump off the bridge!"
