Olivia's breathing quavered as she leaned against the roof's fencing area. Peter took Olivia's hand in hers."I'm sorry," Peter whispered into her ear. "I didn't mean to make him mad, I just.."
Peter's words seemed to fade as he watched Olivia. Her eyes were closed like she was thinking hard about something.
"Peter," Olivia's voice startled him. "Are you hiding something? I understand that we aren't close, but.."
Peter pulled her into a hug, so she wouldn't see his face as he lied.
"Liv, we're not close?" Peter chuckled, throwing the conversation off. "We've known each other since we were like five."
Olivia pushed him away.
"You can't avoid the question, Peter," She said, creating some distance between the two. "Answer my question Peter, are you hiding something?"
He grimaced as she set his hand a few inches away from hers.
"Liv, I'm not hiding something," He insisted, looking away again.
"Look at me, Pete," She muttered, nudging his chin towards her. "Look at me when you lie."
He seemed to shiver as she traced her hand along his cheek. Her eyes had a look of expectancy when Peter opened his mouth.
"I'm not lying," He hesitated, basically shaking.
She let a shaky sigh out before starting to walk away. She looked to Peter again, hoping for something to happen. Peter's hand hovered in the air, halfway reaching for her and halfway resting by his side. She turned away again, massaging her forehead. She hated yelling, but the fights where they never yell. They're somehow worse. As she walked, something seemed to grab ahold of her and spin her back. She looked down as she landed into Peters arms. A shiny spider like web stuck to her skirt.
"That could've ripped my skirt down," She shook her head. "You know that right?"
"Shut up," Peter said commandingly.
As she looked up to Peter, his lips crashed into hers. Their lips moved together, in sync. It was perfect. She felt like she was floating in air, no matter how cliche that sounded. Peter's hands wrapped around her body, hugging her close. A loud siren shook the two from the kiss. Both of their heads shot towards the city in fear.
"So you're Spider-man?" Olivia looked back at Peter, a smirk on her face. "I knew it!"
Her eyes widened. She shoved him lightly.
"That's for lying!" She hissed, crossing her arms before taking his shirt in her hands and pulling him in to kiss her.
After a few seconds, Olivia let him go, expecting him to stop kissing her, but he kind of hung there, leaning into the kiss. She smiled into the kiss and slowly pushed him away.
"Go do your thing, bug boy," She kissed his cheek before leaving him standing.
She opened the roofs door and turned back to Peter just in time to watch as he jumped off the roof.
"I'm in trouble," She chuckled to herself before walking inside.
