Erza scans his surroundings. Some were fumbling around avoiding his line of sight. While others just stared blankly, ehem, cough...TCF!Cale...cough, at him and some were brimming with curiosity.
One of them is, of course, the ancient dragon TCF!Eruhaben.
"Say, little boy..."
"Yes, Eruhaben-nim?"
Erza let out a smile. TCF!Eruhaben observed his expression before continuing to ask his question.
"Was this the gods doing or something else?"
<Dragons really are great and mighty.>
Erza chuckled.
"For our dear participants, all of you, as I said before, this is some kind of entertainment for someone and that someone is an avid fan of you guys. They've been whin, ehem, asking to the God of Death, the Sun God and other gods to lend their power and bring you guys to this place."
"Did he just about to say whining?"
TCF!Bud ask the mage Glen.
While others raised their brows at the word 'fan'.
- That someone must have been a pain in the a** to the gods that they complied with this person's request.
TCF!Cale snickered ignoring the bad premonition brewing in his head.
"To make the said request come true, after considering everything, the gods have agreed to work together to bring all of you here."
"But, there's some that we don't even know who they were. So why?"
TCF!Cage asked. The others nod, voicing their agreement with her. Only a few remain silent despite everything that happens.
Like the Cheshire Cat from Alice's Adventure in Wonderland, Erza grins from ear to ear, sending a shiver to those who looking.
"Don't you think that fate is an interesting thing?"
Erza muttered while looking knowingly at TCF!Cale, the walking trouble magnet. Somehow, Cale felt offended by the look.
"What?"
"Nah. Nothing."
Erza snapped his finger. Two pictures appeared on the screen.
"Well, let's end this Q&A here shall we? We are going to continue with our next as scheduled."
The people down stage reluctantly nodded their heads before calming themselves again.
"Well, you guys don't have to worry after all. The time outside will stop ticking."
The handsome looking boy remembered a certain god that was adamant about helping them. God of Time to be specific.
- That god's not normal either.
Erza shook his head a little before he heard a voice.
"How can we believe you?!"
A certain unimportant noble from Roan Kingdom asked. He looked at him.
- Isn't this the noble who blatantly called Cale trash during the Grand Noble Meeting?
"Well, you have to. After all, it's the gods who brought you here. Their pride will tarnish the moment they break a promise. Just who do you think they are?"
Erza shrugged. Showing that, why ask the obvious?
The said noble had an embarrassed look on his face as he quickly sat down.
