Mr. Player Is My Neighbor

School sucks

When Drew asked me to be his girlfriend I was so scared. I didn't know what to think.

"Drew you mean a lot to me and you've helped me more than you know but I don't want to bring you into my disaster of a life just yet. I know one day I will but I can't just yet. So for now I can't be your girlfriend." I said. I was so sad to disappoint him but I can't bring him into my life.

"Julia just know that I'm going to wait that I'll wait forever for you. I'm going to wait on you for as long as you want me to." He said while smiling. After we just talked for a little while he then had to go home.

----NEXT DAY----
I was walking into school when Payton came up to me. We walked to my locker together and then walked to P.E. select together. There are only three girls in P.E. select and that's me, Payton, and our other friend Kaily. We got dressed an then walked out to the gym.

"Hey Kaily." Payton and I both said.

"Hey Julia. Hey Payton." I saw Drew come out of the boys locker room. I ran up to him while he was facing his friends talking. I ran and then jumped on his back while covering his eyes.

"Yes Julia?" He said. I jumped off his back and turned him around.

"How did you know it was me?" I asked.

"Well I know Kaily wouldn't jump on me. Payton has a thing with Derek. The guys her do not weigh as much as a feather so that only leaves one person. And that one person would be you." He says while smiling at me.

"Whatever. And for your information a feather weighs nothing and I way like... 100 pounds. I'm pretty sure like a 103 pounds so ha." I said and no I'm not anorexic. People always ask me that because I'm a senior only 100 pounds and they think it's bad. It's both my fault you and weigh like 200 pounds because you have muscles.

"Oh my god 100 pounds what are we going to do. Julia that's not a lot what so ever." He said sarcastic and ten became more serious.

"Whatever." I said just as our P.E. walks out. There is three other class that has P.E. Select and we always do stuff with those classes so yeah.

"Alright today we're going to play... drumroll please... DODGEBALL." There were cheers all throughout the gym.

I always loved dodgeball. I especially loved it when the movie 'DodgeBall' came out. My favorite line from that movie was 'If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball.'

Our class was going up against Bilinow's class which was bad but I didn't care. Why was it bad? Well because Ryan is going against Drew and I. Oh well. We'll just get him out.

"One. Two. Three. DODGEBALL!" And it all began. The dodging, the jumping, the ducking, the falling, the throwing but all to soon P.E. was over and we had to go get changed back to our normal clothes.

Payton and I walked back into the gym. We saw the guys and went over to them. I went over to Drew. Payton went over to Derek but where's Damon? I sat in between Drew's legs with my head against his chest. He put his chin on the top of my head. I looked up at him.

"Where's Damon?" I asked him. While Payton and Derek were caught up in their own conversation.

"Talking to the new girl."

"There's a new girl?" I asked. How was I not aware of this.

"Yeah." He said while looking over at Damon and who I'm guessing is the new girl. "We should probably go save her from that jack-"

"LANGUAGE!" I screamed at him. He just laughed and picked me up like a child and walked me over to Damon.

"Hey Damon." I said nicely while getting down from Drew.
