Chapter 4 - Deal

Here we are sitting in the principal office talking with Principal Nezu. I dont trust this stupid mouse, considering how he tricked us just to learn our abilities. If a fight were to happen I won't hesitate to draw my sword and windblade this bitch.

This same mouse also had the audacity to make a deal with us. He will provide us with food and shelter and will help us look for the person that sent us here. All in return we have to stay and help his students with certain classes. All he wants for us is to help train his students and participate in activities with the class.

"Okay," I began rubbing the bridge of my nose. "You want us to help train your students? I don't know what we can help them with, I am terrible at teaching."

Aether agreed. "We assume we don't have the same fighting style as them. Our abilities are different and the weapons we use to fight are different."

But that dumb mouse just sat there smiling, "From what Ive seen you run faster, have better agility, are more flexible, and seem to know how to make quick decisions when in battle. I am positive you can teach or give tips."

"I-" I turned towards Aether. This could be our only chance, ...but teaching ugh..

"We'll do it." Aether firmly stated.

I could only nod. Paimon floated behind me and patted my back.

"Perfect! You will be staying in a house down the street from the school. Your uniform and casual clothes will be there as well."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Casual clothes..?" Was something wrong with what I am wearing now?

"Unfortunately you would most likely receive stares from the public. Your outfits would probably seem like hero wear. But do not fret! You will receive your clothes back when you begin the teaching."

This house wasn't that bad. Aether and I had been camping in the wilderness since we traveled so much, the was until Madam Ping introduced us to our teapot realm. We have only had about a month to get used to it though its still a work in progress. 

There were two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, and training room. A very simple house but I could tell some things were different, things seemed more...modern. There were these machines and stuff called, 'appliances.'

We've noticed that this world has a higher level of technology than we thought. We noticed people turning lights on without flicking a switch or lighting a candle, which was slightly strange, well for Aether at least. This isn't the first time I've traveled to a world in 'modern' time. This was a while ago, before I met the twins.

Although when I was traveling with Aether and Lumine, we mostly were in worlds where time was set back. Usually medieval times, y'know?

Ah, Lumine...

"Paimon thinks this place is so cool!" Snapping out of my thoughts I turn to Paimon who flopped onto the L-shaped couch.

I giggled, "This isn't bad. Finally a break from the trees and the hilichurls randomly attacking us."

"Oh hey! These are the uniforms Mr. Nezu was talking about!"

I look over to the neatly folded clothes Paimon was mentioning at the coffee table. That's when my face scrunched up in disgust.

"Ew what the hell is that?"Both Aether and Paimon hummed in confusion as they turned to my direction, noticing my obvious displeasure.

"What's wrong?"

I walked over to the uniform, picking it up and inspecting it. "This design is terrible. The color palette is too random, the neck cut is horrendous, and what the fuck is with the random red tie?"

"What." Paimon sighed.

Aether chuckled knowing how I get about fashion. I mean I wouldn't say I'm like, SUPER harsh... But this piece of shit is ugly.

"They could have chosen any color, but decided on barf green. Should have made the skirt either black or white, the tie yellow, or black, and remove those two stripes across the fold. Grey, Green, Gold, Red, White. What a terrible choice."

I rolled my eyes in annoyance as Paimon continued to float there dumbfounded.

"Anyways, we need to figure some things out. Make a plan and etcetera. " I sat down on the couch crossing my legs. "We're gonna have to help some kids all in exchange for some information. I think it's best we talk about it if these people don't hold up their end of the deal."

(A/N) Sorry for short chapter. I legit hate how inconsistent I am with my stories. I legit just started another story with a Genshin x demon slayer crossover. WTH author.

Okay so for this story idea I decided to use canon Traveler, y'know able to use all elements at once. But another thing I wanted to was expand the variety of moves with each element. Kinda like a head-cannon on traveler studying other peoples moves and learning new ways to handle the visions.
