It's the middle of the day, Hail'cloud, Quiet'growl, and the apprentices have been trying to survive the weather. They have already taken off before the light shined. Oleander'paw was still worried about Emerald'gaze. Not till a smell of rain lingering around. Quiet'growl had a bad feeling, seeing the clouds slowly raging in, and a small sound of a thunderstorm. She liked the rain if it didn't storm that loudly. She looked at Hail'cloud with a concerned look. "𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯." Hail'cloud turned around, the apprentices and the kittypets played each other while the mollies kept in watch.
"Hm?" Hail'cloud said. "What do you mean a storm?" Hail'cloud turned around as she seen the dark clouds as well. "Erm....well do you want us to stop?" She asked, Quiet'growl looked at the clouds again. "𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭...𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰, 𝘐'𝘮 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵...𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨." She said, rolling her eyes. Hail'cloud blinked. "If it gets cloudy enough, we'll stop." She said, Quiet'growl rolled her eyes once again, she didn't want to show how scared she was. They both watched as the young played around, Petal played with Dusk'paw, Milk'paw and One'paw argued like normal, Icicle and Smokey just walked quietly, while Oleander'paw walked by himself.
He felt something dripping in his back, it was a small drop of rain. Oleander'paw turned to Hail'cloud and Quiet'growl. "𝙄 𝙩𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣." She said with an annoyed but paranoid tone. "𝙉𝙤𝙬 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙘𝙖𝙫𝙚-" Hail'cloud looked around, she seen a small little land, until it starts to rain harder, and then.... 𝘽𝙊𝙊𝙈! The apprentices and kittypets got close together. Hail'cloud then screamed as she ran. "GO GO GO!" Quiet'growl ran last since she had to keep in watch with the young. Oleander'paw froze, until he sees something coming towards Dusk'paw. His eyes turned randomly white and pushed him out of the way as the lightning strike close near Dusk'paw after.
They head into the den, they fell on the ground, tired. They were worn out by the walking, Hail'cloud stood up seeing the winds taking over. "Welp, we're gonna die in this wasteland, what will we do now?" One'paw said. "This might be it, we might will live ourselves in the wasteland until we all die." Hail'cloud said, disappointed. "Emerald'gaze and them might be already dead." Oleander'paw start to shed a tear, but Milk'paw and the others seemed to be sad. "We can't just give up now, there's still soul shards left we need to break." Milk'paw said.
"I could maybe try and find the shards, me and Quiet'growl found one! We can't just give up; our friend is probably out there somewhere!" Oleander'paw stood up at Hail'cloud. Hail'cloud looked at all the other apprentices. "Fine, but if we don't find out friend after a few days, we're done. Now wait until the rain stop." She said, Oleander'paw growled and yelled as his eyes blinked blue as the water. "WELL, IF HE'S DYING, I'LL DIE WITH HIM! YOU WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN RUNNING LIKE A COWARD!"
He stormed off, Hail'cloud stepped up, she stomped her paw down. Oleander'paw turned around. "WELL, IF YOU WANT TO GO BY YOUSELF THEN BE IT, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ALL THAT WHINING ABOUT EMERALD'GAZE!" She snapped at him, Oleander'paw's eyes glowed blue. Quiet'growl noticed all the water forming, she went in front of the two. "𝘊𝘢𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘴𝘩𝘶𝘵 𝘶𝘱, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵, 𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘳𝘺𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘺." She said, Oleander'paw stormed off, Hail'cloud sat down as her ears pinned.
She hasn't seen him snap like that, but surely enough he got that from Emerald'gaze, but felt bad after, thinking she failed him and the others. Dusk'paw followed Oleander'paw to the open parts of the den, he seen him sitting down watching the rain. He sat beside him, as Oleander'paw pinned his ears down. "Hey you good?" Dusk'paw asked, Oleander'paw just sighed, he was already stressed enough, he held that vent ever since it all started.
