i once read a book that encased the quote above. it has stuck with me like the way stickers never seemed to truly come off of the things we stuck them to as children. i've always looked at people and wondered what their specific tragedy is. i mean, yeah, we all have bad things happen to us, some more than others. but there's always the one tragedy that defines us. shapes us. the one that either lead to all the others or the one that sticks out the most. we all get at least one.
shakespeares plays were classified as either tragedies, or comedies. it was considered a tragedy if it ended in death. that's how you knew.
a part of me died the day i found out about what you did. it was painful, but it needed to happen. that girl you knew.... she's so gone. and i am beyond grateful.
