Julianne Medford was one of the smartest people on Earth.

She decided to take advantage of her gift and become a scientist.

A scientist who studies viruses.

That is why she, out of the billions of people in the world, was the first to be infected.

And that is why she was the first to be claimed by death because of this virus.

She was working in her lab, observing a virus that had been found on an unusual animal.

A deer. But it wasn't just any deer. It was a mutated stag.

Its eyes were bloodshot and bulging out of its skull, it had four rows of teeth ( two on top and two on bottom ), it had an extra hoof on both of its front feet, and it was unusually fat.

It was found dead with its throat slit in a cave.

A hunter had claimed he was hunting and shot the deer in the leg. He went up to the deer to put it out of its misery, when it tried to kill him.

It snapped its teeth at him, as if it was trying to eat him. The hunter slit its throat and called the cops.

Immediately, the stag was taken to a lab to examine. The surgeons found a virus in the brain, and took it to Julianne's lab.

On her desk, there were many metal trays out, and tools out. In front of her lay a metal tray with the brain on it.

"Fascinating," she said to herself.

"This brain is nothing like I've ever seen before!"

It was no ordinary brain either, just like the stag.

It was stained green, with the center black.

The brain cells were rotting away, and it looked like a shark had taken a bite out of it.

The virus was a brain eating killer.

It slowly eats out your brain cells one by one at a rapid pace until it takes over your entire body.

You can see what you are doing, but you can't take control of your actions.

You go into full murder mode.

But there was a catch to the virus.

It didn't just exist in deer, but it was about to jump species.

She had been infected.

Julianne Medford was infected, and it would all unleash and take over her brain.

She would become the monster the stag was.

But the symptoms would only start until she got home...

Inside the deer's stomach, the surgeons found body parts, but not just any body parts.

Hands. Feet. Legs. Arms. All human limbs.

She put the brain away in a triple sealed vault, air locked it, and decided to get off of work early.

In her blue Acura, she drove home.

She turned onto 7291 Oak Street.

She lived in a mansion. A beautiful one.

Yes that one, that you are picturing in your head now. It was the exact same house you are imagining now.

She drove home, and felt unwell every second of the way.
