The next morning when you woke up, Kazuha wasn't there.
"Not again..." You sighed
But when you went out to the main room, there was no note this time. You went out to the town to look for Kazuha but when you found him,
He was talking to a girl.
No, he was kissing the girl.
You stopped in your tracks and just stared at them for a second before running off into the opposite direction.
After a few minutes of wandering you went back to the tea house.
You were mad, confused, sad, and didn't know what to do.
When Kazuha finally got back he greeted you happily, but you ignored him.
"Are you okay?" He said confused
"What are we Kazuha." You said angrily
"What do you mean?" He said as his eyes widened at your sudden question,
"You heard me."
"I don't know.. I haven't thought about that... Why do you ask?"
At this point you were pissed beyond belief, you scoffed at him and ran out of the tea house.
He followed you and grabbed your wrist,
"What happened?" He said worriedly
"I saw it."
"You saw what..?" He said confused
"I SAW YOU KISS THAT GIRL KAZUHA."
It went silent, neither one of you knew what to say after you yelled like that.
Kazuha was surprised. He's never seen this angry side of you, so he was stunned
"y/n I-" He tried to talk but you cut him off,
"Save it. I don't want to hear any excuses" You said as you walked away, and this time.. Kazuha didn't follow you.
You were walking around for a few minutes before you heard fireworks coming from the beach outside of the town and decided to head towards them, considering you had no where else to go anyways.
When you got there you saw Yoimiya but she was with a group of kids.
You waited for all the kids to walk away before you walked up and said hi to her,
"Boo!" You said from behind her.
"OHMYGOD Y/N U SCARED ME"
You and her both laughed, and then talked with each other while she packed up her fireworks, and she was about to leave before you asked her a question.
"Hey Yoimiya.. Can I.. Stay with you for a day or two please.." You said expecting a no from her.
"What? Why? Aren't you and Kazuha staying in the tea house together?" She asked confused
"Funny story, me and Kazuha.. Are sorta arguing right now" You sighed as you sat down on the sand looking at the water
"What happened?" she said as she sat down next to you
After you explained what you saw up until when you walked away, you looked at Yoimiya's worried face.
"Did he tell you his side of the story?"
"Well, I didn't really... let him. And I feel terrible" You looked down trying to hold back your tears.
You loved Kazuha and when you explained the story to someone else you realized how much of an ass you were. Even if he did kiss someone else, you and Kazuha weren't official, and you got mad at him for not thinking about you guys' relationship state when, in reality, you didn't either.
"It's alright y/n, don't worry. I'm sure everything will be okay soon" She said as she got up and reached a hand out to help you do the same. "You can stay with me for as long as you need." She smiled
"Thank you Yoimiya."
"Anytime y/n."
You and Yoimiya picked up the crates filled with left-over fireworks and sparklers and carried them over to her house. When you got there you both dropped the crates outside the front door and walked inside.
"Make yourself at home! My dad is out and wont be back until mid-day tomorrow so we'll have the house to ourselves tonight." She said while she picked some of the fireworks that were laying on the counter and threw them into one of the crates filled with them in the living room.
"Thank you again.. I'm sorry for putting this onto you, let me help you clean up as payment"
"Nonono, you're a guest! I can't ask that of you" She exclaimed
"I insist, it's only fair"
You and her went back and forth about how you should or shouldn't help her clean up until she finally gave in and told you what to do.
You and her cleaned for an hour or two until it became night and Yoimiya fell asleep. You on the other hand, tried your hardest to sleep but you couldn't, so you decided to go for a walk.
You walked to the outskirts of the town and found a hill overlooking the beach. You sat at the edge of it just watching the stars flicker before you heard a familiar voice behind you.
"Hi y/n," Kazuha said as he sat down next to you.
As you were about to get up to leave he stopped you by grabbing your wrist and pulling you back down.
"I'm not letting you go that easily" He smirked at you
"What do you want." You scoffed at him
"Look, I know you're mad at me and I understand why, but you need to hear me out." He said
"I'm listening." You replied
"I didn't want to kiss that girl. She pushed herself onto me. Not the other way around, you just came at a bad time." He sighed. "You probably didn't stay long enough to see me push her off of me. And i'm sorry."
You felt a tear roll down your cheek but you didn't know why. Then you just started crying and you couldn't stop yourself.
'what is happening to me?'
Kazuha didn't say anything else. He just hugged you and put your face into his chest.
When you finished crying and pulled away he started talking again.
"You.. don't have to accept my apology if you don't want to.. I just wanted to make sure you knew I didn't want to kiss her, and that I was sorry." He said as he started to get up
"Kazuha." You said sternly which stopped him
"Of course I forgive you. It was hell without you." You said.
He looked into your eyes. "y/n please, be my girlfriend.. I was thinking about what you were saying and didn't know why I didn't ask you before. It was stupid of me. This fight made me realize how much I love you and need you with me."
"Of course i'll be your girlfriend.. I'd be an idiot to reject THE wandering samurai" You teased him and then kissed him passionately
He kissed you back and you both laid there stargazing with each other for an hour before you two went to Yoimiya's and left her a note saying that you talked to Kazuha and that everything was okay, so you were going back to the tea house with him. You both walked back to the tea house together holding hands the entire way.
When you finally got there, you both fell asleep almost instantly together in the bed.
3 days later, it was time for the festival, and your last day in Inazuma.
