9 - Set Sail

A/N: oh my god im literally sobbing :cry: im sorry i havent wroten in forever ive been super busy but im back now (hopefully for awhile) woohoo

The next morning you woke up but Kazuha wasn't next to you, you searched for him throughout the house but yet you couldn't find him. Just then you saw a note on the counter of the kitchen that read:

"Dear y/n,

I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you woke up, but by the time you're reading this I am probably helping Beidou load the ship to take a trip to Inazuma. Theres some food for you on to stove, enjoy :)

P.S. When you finish your food come stop by Beidou's ship I wanna ask you something before we set off.

'this bitch always leaves me on cliff hangers doesn't he..' You sighed as you picked up the plate of almond tofu that he left for you on the stove. 

You ate quickly because you wanted to make sure that you would get to Beidou's ship before her, Kazuha, and the rest of the fleet set off for Inazuma.

You were kind of upset though, considering this meant Kazuha and Beidou were going to be gone for a few days. You knew you were gonna miss him and deep down, no matter how selfish you thought it was, didn't want him to go. You wanted to do something to keep him in Liyue but you knew in the long run that it would just make you feel bad.

When you finished your food you put it in the sink as you quickly ran out of the house..

"FUCK MY SHOES"

'Great just great i'm halfway there and didn't realize my shoes were gone! How do you even manage to forget your shoes in the first place?!'

You panted as you rushed back into Kazuha's house to get your shoes.

Just then you saw Childe and Yanfei walking down the Northland bank staircases as they waved at you, and you waved back.

"You better hurry y/n, Kazuha is about to leave." Childe said smirking.

"Oh shut up ginger!" You said as you started to run faster

'Wait how did he know i was going to see Kazuha..' You turned around but Yanfei and Childe were already gone.. 'weird.'

When you finally got to the ship Kazuha and Beidou looked at you and smiled, you stopped to catch your breath as you saw Beidou whisper something to Kazuha and his eyes widened.. You noticed him mouth the words "are you sure..?" to Beidou as she nodded and gave him a thumbs up and motioned for him to go over to you.

"Took you long enough," He said teasingly

"Oh shut up! I had to run all the way hear mind you." you said, still trying to catch your breath "forgetting my shoes half way here didn't exactly help either.." You mumbled thinking her couldn't hear you.

"YOU FORGOT YOUR SHOES AND IT TOOK YOU TO GET HALFWAY TO REALIZE?" He said as he broke out laughing "AH MY SIDES HURT,"

"SHHHHHHHH!!!! ALL OF LIYUE CAN HEAR YOU WHEN YOU'RE THAT LOUD!" You whisper yelled to him. 

You both walked over to the ship and helped load the last few boxes onto the ship. Afterwards Beidou left you and Kazuha alone on the edge of the dock while she rallied the rest of the fleet to make sure they were ready.

You were sitting on the edge of the dock dangling your feet in the water while you and Kazuha were watching the sunset.

"Hey, y/n.. Do you have any plans for this week?" Kazuha said suddenly looking down and turning to you.

"No, why?"

"Well, I was wondering.. Inazuma has this festival that they hold once a year, it's amazing and very fun. I wanted to ask if you wanted to go with me" He said as he locked eyes with you.

You looked up at him surprised.

"Aren't you a fugitive in Inazuma?" You said confused

"Ah so Beidou told you." He slowly walked over and sat down next to you. "Originally I was just going to ask if you wanted to ride the ship with us to Inazuma, which was the thing I said i wanted to ask you about in the note, but Beidou had the idea of going to the festival together. I have friends that could go with us too."

"It's not that im worried about... I don't want.. I don't want you to get caught." You said as you looked at your guys' reflection in the water

"Oh? You're worried about me?" He laughed

"Kazuha? The great almighty wandering samurai himself?! I would never" You said mockingly

You and him both laughed.

"Yes Kazuha, I would love to go to the festival with you" You said and winked at him.

You saw him blushing in the reflection water as he quickly looked away from you.

You said nothing, you just smirked.

'So... Mr. Samurai isn't all big and top after all' You thought to yourself.

"But, what are we going to do about the guards. Theres no doubt going to be some in Inazuma." You said

"Just, don't get caught." He said. "I have a friend that owns a teahouse that I can stay in for the time we're in Inazuma. Then Beidou will come pick us up when she drops off more deliveries by the end of the week."

"HEY LOVEBIRDS! YA DONE FLIRTING YET?" You heard Beidou screaming from behind you two.

"Yes ma'am!" Kazuha said as he got up and walked over to her.

You followed them onto the ship as kazuha grabbed your hand to help you up the stairs.

"I can do this myself you know." You said sarcastically

"Oh yeah, I know." He said as he smiled at you.

When you got over he spun you around and kissed your hand gently.

After a few hours of what felt like endless sailing, You got to the docks of Ritou, when you finally got rid of your sea sickness you saw Beidou and Kazuha talking to a blonde haired boy with a red jacket on. 

A/N: sorta kinda a long chapter omg. im gonna try to get out as many chapters theese few days that i can to make up for how long ive been gone x_x
