The Boy With The Guitar (Taegyu)

Arcade Games

This morning Beomgyu woke up earlier than he would normally on a Saturday morning. Today was the day that he and Taehyun would be going to the arcade together. They had never really hung out alone so he was nervous and didn't want to make him feel awkward so he practiced talking casually in the mirror for hours until he heard a knock on his door.

"Coming!!" He said as he scrambled out of the bathroom, taking a deep breath before opening it with a smile "hello Hyunnie". He said happily.

The other nodded and hummed "hi Gyu" he replied.

"Gyu?" Beomgyu was surprised because Taehyun always called him just Beomgyu or hyung. He let out a smile

Taehyun mumbled to himself and huffed slightly "yeah if you don't like it I won't call you that—".

"I like it" Beomgyu said with a big smile plastered all over his face. He then grabbed Taehyun's hand after closing and locking his dorm room "let's go~" he said as he dragged the boy down the hallway.

The two boys walked down the road and just talked for a while the whole way to the arcade, just talking about life and getting to know each other even further before they stopped in front of the arcade.

"We're here!" Shouted Beomgyu as he laughed and pulled the blonde inside of the large building.

Once inside, the boys looked around and stared at everything, amazed at how big it was on the inside of the place, having multiple floors of just games and claw machines. It took both boys a few minutes before they remembered why they were there and looked at each other.

"Wait here, I'll go get some credits, I'll be right back" said Beomgyu as he ran away before Taehyun could protest against him paying for them both. Taehyun huffed softly as he walked around the area he was in, examining the machines that were nearby.

Soon Beomgyu had came back with a large cup full of tokens they would put in the machines to play and he smiled at the other who smiled back. "Oh so the Kang Taehyun can smile?" The older teased, the younger immediately frowning

"Yes, in fact I can, but you don't get to see it anymore" Taehyun said as he crossed his arms and pretended to be offended, to which Beomgyu only laughed at.

"Sorry Hyunnie~, let's go play some games now, I'm bored~." Beomgyu said as he started walking towards a machine close to him, Taehyun following after him, not wanting to be left there alone and since the other had the tokens anyways.

While the two boys were playing they ended up eating some lunch since they were starving before they went back to the arcade games. They were greatful that the arcade had its own built in food stop kind of thing.

Taehyun had noticed Beomgyu eyeing a certain machine and he wanted to know why, but when he inspected further he realized that the boy was staring at a certain bear plushie in the giant crane game.

Taehyun watched the boy in amusement before he poked his cheek, standing up "c'mon, I'm gonna win that for you" he said, snapping the other out of his thoughts.

"Huh?" Beomgyu looked at the younger male with confusion plastered on his face before Taehyun shrugged and gestured over to the machine Beomgyu had been staring at.

"That bear... I'm gonna win it for you" Taehyun replied with a shrug. Beomgyu was in shock before looking at the boy.

"You don't have to do that Hyunnie. Plus, those big crane games are rigged anyways so it's not easy to win. It's really fine" he said, scratching the back of his neck

"I insist"

Beomgyu couldn't really protest as he knew the other would try no matter what he said. "Oh alright" he said, getting up and following the boy to the said machine.

Taehyun inserted a few tokens before he moved the joystick towards the bear that he wanted to get.  With no luck, the hook just let it go immediately, causing Taehyun to frown.

"It's okay Hyunnnie, you got this!"

With new encouragement, Taehyun tried again, failing once more.

This went on for about 15 minutes and every time the plush got closer to the chute but never going in. Taehyun cursed under his breath as he reached to pick up a coin again to put in the machine, looking over when he didn't feel the bucket. He looked at Beomgyu who had pulled the bucket away from him.

"Hyunnie I don't think it's gonna go in the chute, we can always try another machine you know." Beomgyu said softly with a small smile on his lips.

Taehyun sighed softly and nodded. "You're right." He huffed then looked at him again "just one more time?" He asked softly, not really wanting to give up. Beomgyu only sighed and Put two tokens into the machine.  Taehyun lined the hook up with the bear and let it drop, watching as it made its way to the chute, finally dropping it into the winners section.

"Omg I got it!!" Taheyun said happily. He was so happy that he finally got it. Once he got it out of the chute he handed it over to the other male "this is for you Gyu~" he said softly as the brunette smiled happily as he took the bear and hugged it.

"Thank you Hyunnie, I love it very much~' he said and smiled before they walked off to go play some more games. They could play there over and over and never get bored.

So they played until they had to leave, bringing back home their bags of plushies and other prizes.

"Hey boss, I spotted Mr. Choi's son out today hanging out with a friend. They seem to be close". Said a tall figure standing in front of his boss' desk.

The figure in a chair just grunted before turning in his swivel chair to reply. "Let's wait a bit and have a chat with old man Choi. If he doesn't have the money then we'll just have to take what he loves the most as collateral."

Hello everyone, I hope you liked this episode though it was kinda rushed. Its after 1 am rn and I have to wake up in 5 hours for school so yeah. Anyways I hope you enjoyed this part and the others as well.
