I remember the first song Yuan played nung unang beses siyang dumalaw sa panaginip ko. It's Champagne Supernova ng Oasis.

'How many special people change?

How many lives are livin' strange?

Where were you while we were getting high?'

The moment I heard this voice, there's legit tears in my eyes because of two reasons.

First, his voice is beautiful. Probably the most beautiful voice I've ever heard.

Second is because of the song he's playing. It reminds me of my dad. Many years ago, in this exact spot, my dad sang that song to me and my mom.

'Slowly walkin' down the hall

Faster than a cannonball

Where were you while we were getting high?'

Napapikit ako habang pinapakinggan ko siyang kumanta. My heart is about to burst. I'm full of emotions that I can't even explain.

Then I felt the wind blew at tumunog yung wind chime. Napahinto si Yuan sa pag tugtog ng gitara at napatingin sa nakasabit na wind chime sa itaas namin.

"That's my favorite sound," he told me.

"Bakit?" tanong ko naman.

Nagkibit balikat siya. "I dunno. I just love that sound."

The wind blew again at tumunog na naman ang wind chime.

"Me too," sabi ko. "Favorite ko rin yung tunog ng wind chime."

"Bakit?" balik na tanong niya sa'kin.

Napatingin ako sa Mt. Fuji na nasa harapan namin.

"It sounded like a dream," I told him

Hindi siya umimik, instead, he started strumming the guitar again.

"Kanta ka," sabi niya sa akin.

Napalingon ako sa kanya and I saw him smiling at me. The kind of smile that encourages me to sing.

Umiling ako, "makikinig lang ako."

"Bakit?" tanong ulit nito.

"Basta," sabi ko.

Ngumiti ulit 'to—an inviting smile---as he started singing again.

In a Champagne Supernova in the sky.'

Napapikit ako. Napahinga nang malalim.

And I found myself singing with him.

Huminto si Yuan sa pag tugtog. Napadilat ako at napatingin sa kanya. He's staring at me with a smile that melts my heart.

"Lavender," tawag niya sa akin. "Let's play music together."

The first time I heard the company's name, I felt goosebumps all over my body. I'm already curious kung sino ang may ari ng kompanya na 'to at bakit ayan ang naisipan niyang pangalan. I know it has nothing to do with me nor my dreams or Yuan, but still, I already felt a certain connection doon sa company.
