CHAPTER 7 - WHO MAKES YOU SMILE LIKE...

After he showered, Jackson prepared himself a glass of scotch and opened his laptop to check his emails. He checked his new mails one by one until a certain name caught his eyes. New email from Park Jinyoung. He smiled thinking of a certain beautiful male he met a week ago. He wondered for a minute if this was the same Jinyoung but he knew deep down that it would be impossible since the man he met a week ago hated his guts.

He shook his head to forget about that pretty Jinyoung and opened the email. Ah, it's from Bambam's teacher. He was happy to learn that his son's teacher seemed to like Bambam but also worried about his son's Korean language performance. He wished he could help more by being home on time but unfortunately, his work takes more of his time lately.

He replied to the teacher's email.

Dear Mr. Park.

This is Bambam's father, Wang Jiaer . Unfortunately, being a single parent, it was really hard to juggle between work and being a father. I do need advice on what I should do to help my son improve his Korean language skills.

Please do not hesitate to email about my son's class performance and I would do my best to reply as soon as I can.

Jackson clicked send and closed his laptop. He walked to the balcony to have some fresh night air. He thought about the question that his son asked him earlier. Is it ok to have two fathers, baba? Mark's words also bugged him ever since his cousin said it. It has been 5 years since you last had a date.

He was amazed that it has been 5 years since he went on a date. But since Bambam came into his life, he didn't have time to meet new people. His parents also nagged him about dating. People that he met always tried to set him up with a date but he just couldn't commit. Don't get him wrong, he does get lonely especially at night. He also needed someone to help him co-parent with him especially at times like this when he gets so busy with work. Bambam needs another parent to help him academically. How Jackson wished that he had someone beside him.

Jinyoung. Bam's teachers name is Jinyoung. Jackson laughed coz he knows that it's a pretty common name but it somewhat reminds him of a certain someone. Jackson couldn't understand how Jinyoung's face popped in his mind once he read that name. He chuckled. Am I having a one-sided crush at this age? Jackson felt a breeze in the air. He looked up at the night sky, "Hey Lisa! Did you just hug me? You always know how to comfort me. I feel better now. Thank you." Another breeze enveloped him. He closed his eyes and let 'Lisa' comfort him. He stayed for a few more minutes until his phone buzzed. He looked at it and saw a notification of a new message from their work chat room.

He opened the door to go back inside and walked towards his bedroom. He opened his son's bedroom door to get a peek at his sleeping child. He then proceeded to his bedroom while he lifted his phone to reply to the chat. He couldn't help but chuckled when he saw JayB's message about Jinyoung being asleep already. Good night, beautiful Jinyoung. He mumbled as he slipped himself inside his duvet.

"Jiaer? Don't worry, Jack. You're doing a good job being my son's father. Don't ever doubt that. You don't need to date someone because you need someone to help you with Bam, Jack."

"Lisa!" He hugged the female when he saw her. "I do need someone to help me with Bam. He is growing so fast that he needs two parents."

"Silly Jack ! Yes, Bam needs two parents but I want you to date because you fell in love with someone....because you want to have someone to love...because you found someone that makes you laugh. Once you find that person, you will have someone to help you with my son."
