When you are admitted to the hospital you get wrist bands. If they place a white wrist band, you are there for a check-up. If you get a green wrist band, you are there for surgery. If you get a blue wrist band, it symbolizes that your there for emergency care. The red wrist band is placed to only those who are dead. Just like those, there are a few more.
Well, I just finished my night shift in the hospital. I entered the elevator and there was just one person in there. I casually chatted with the woman while the elevator went down.
When the elevator door opened, another woman was about to enter until I saw it. I slammed the close button and pushed the button to the highest floor.
Surprised, the woman in the elevator looked at me and asked, "Why are you being so rude? How come you didn't let the other woman in?"
"That woman was the woman I just operated on. She died while I did the operation. Didn't you see her red wristband she had that I put on?" I explained scared.
The woman smiled, raised her sleeve, and picked up her arm showing me her wrist, and said, "Something like this?"
