Jamie's POV

Dakota and I made our way back to set after we had cleared our heads from what had just occurred. Her cheeks remained flushed and I only seemed to be able to breathe through my mouth. Sam asked for her drink but it turned out that Dakota had left it at the record store so we confessed part of the truth; that paparazzi found us so we had to hide and left the smoothies.

The lights were back on and production was setting up once more.

"We'll start filming in ten minutes!" Sam had called out. "Jamie? Dakota? Shall you rehearse the scene one more time?"

"Yeah, I'm all up for it," Dakota replied excitedly.

"Um, I kind of have to take care of something real quick," I excuse myself and make my way to my dressing room.

"Fuck," I mutter as I close the door behind me and I stare down at the distinct bulge in my pants. I shift uncomfortably, trying to get rid of the slight pressure and begin to think of other things other than Dakota's lips or her body pressed so close to mine.

I didn't know if she had noticed it but it happened when we started to laugh and then things got heated. I knew it then that she had such a big effect on me and I gave in. I kissed her and I was relieved when she kissed me back. Granted, I would've wanted the first kiss to be somewhere else than a forgotten building closet but it was perfect.

Now, I have to kiss her again, and this time in front of a camera and a crowd. I look down once more and sigh when I see that my pants are back to normal.

The elevator scene had taken us twenty-two takes to get it right and Sam had repeatedly kept commenting how natural and perfect it all looked. I couldn't agree any more.

Every time I pressed my body against hers and I kissed her passionately, I often found myself stop pretending and just let my desire take over. I didn't complain when Sam kept repeating for us to do it over and over again. Dakota's lips were soft and pure and I kept getting shocked at the fact on how our mouths fit perfectly together.

Sam had called cut several minutes ago and I now stand by the snack tables, a water bottle in hand. There are donuts, pretzels, chips and fruits all laid out and I make my way of picking one of each. I end by reaching for a chocolate glazed donut and as I take a bite, I glance up. People walk here and there but I spot Dakota standing a few feet away. She's talking to Eloise, whose back faces me, and Dakota smiles, her eyes bright. Her eyes shift towards me and her grin gets bigger making me smile like an idiot. Eloise turns to see where Dakota is staring at and I immediately look down. That was close.

I walk towards my dressing room, and just as I had expected, Dakota leaves Eloise and walks towards her own. I glimpse around, making sure no one is looking before I grab Dakota's arm and I pull her into my dressing room with me.

She bursts into giggles. "What if someone saw?" she asks.

"Nobody saw." I reply, leaning towards her. Her hands snake around my neck and instinctively I kiss her lips lightly. I've kissed her so many times today and it still feels like a shock is running through me when our lips make contact. I can never get tired of this.

Dakota pulls back and stares up at me before saying, "You have chocolate glaze on your cheek." I wipe it away with my hand as she giggles and takes a seat in one of the chairs. "What's going to happen now?"

I clear my throat and lean against the wall, crossing my arms over my stomach. "I think we both got way ahead of ourselves..." I look up and her face has fallen, her eyes bigger than usual. "Oh, no, no, no! No, I didn't mean it like that! I meant it as like we both have an attraction towards each other and we just went straight to the kiss. I guess I just-"

I walk towards her and crouch down, so that she has to look down at me. I take a hold of her hand and kiss it tenderly before saying, "I want to get to know you better. I want to know everything about you and I realized all that from today."

She releases a grin as she squeezes my hand. "I'm very captivated by you, Dakota, " I say, almost in a whisper. Her eyes meet mine and I smile up at her.

"I'm very drawn to you too, Jamie," she replies.

"Yeah?"

She nods and adds, "I guess we should take it slow, then? No more kisses or-"

"Woah, woah, let's not get hasty, we can do all that and still get to know each other," I say, cutting her off, and standing up. "I just don't want this to be, what do you call it? A fling."

"No, yeah, I totally agree," she says. "But we can't tell anyone."

I nod down at her. "It'll be chaos, for you, me, Sam, the production... at least for now let's just keep it between us?"

Dakota gets up and wraps her arms around my neck as my hands find her waist. "It'll give us more privacy, hmm?" she says seductively. Oh, the things you do to me, Dakota. "When will we get to know more about each other then?"

"I remember you mentioning something about preparing dinner together?" I say, rubbing the tip of my nose against hers.

"This weekend? We could do it at my place. What would you like to make?"

I shake my head. "Anything you'd like," I whisper. Food is the last thing I'm hungry for, right now.

"We'll figure it out, then," she whispers back before she reaches up and we kiss one more time.
