"In other news," reporter Darius White from Channel 11 was saying on Television. "Two Highschoolers were found dead this afternoon, the cause of death was found to be stab wounds..."

The screen switched to VP Damien who had a tired and frustrated look on his face. "We believe that there is a serial killer on the loose, my condolences to the family of those that were murdered."

I grinned. VP Damien continued. "The Police are still investigating, there wasn't any weapon at the crime scene."

The screen cut back to Darius White who adjusted his tie. "The Mayor has shut down the high school effective from this afternoon-"

I switched of the TV and stretched my legs. What a beautiful day. Frederick is no longer on this earth tormenting me. Things are starting to look up for me.

This afternoon felt like a dream. The Police had arrived minutes after news broke out that Frederick and Matt were murdered.

We were immediately forced to go home, but before I did VP Damien called me.

He held out a small golden ring. "Forgot to give this to you,"

"What's this?" I examine the ring, the Devil's Order insignia was engraved on it.

"Wear it," he instructs. "It will glow when you're near to a fellow member of the Devil's Order. And it will help you to practice your magic."

I slipped the ring into my index finger and it shone brightly. "Whoa,"

"Go home Chad." Damien said. "And don't tell anyone about this. Not even your mother...not Jason."

I nod my head and leave his office. I stepped out into the hallway which has already bustling with students rushing out the door all talking at the same time.

"Chad? Chad!!" I heard Jason cry my name. I turn around and see him trying to get his way through some people.

I wasn't in the mood to talk to him so I head for the door and run straight to my house.

I didn't get very far when my asthma kicked in. I pulled out my inhaler and shook it hard and took a few puffs.

School had been closed indefinitely until the ' serial killer ' had been caught.

Which they would never do. Damien said he would do anything in his power to keep the cops or anyone else from finding out about the devil's order.

I stared at the ring on my hand. I wonder if there are other members in this town.

Maybe one that's my age. Preferably a girl.

I was home alone and it was almost four, the others supposed to be home by now.

I didn't know when I slept. But I did remember my dream.

I was in school's basketball court. It was empty and a basketball was in my hand.

For some reason, I started bouncing the ball and threw it into the net. It entered easily.

"Way to Go Chad!!" A voice cried. I turned around and was Matt sitting on a bench clapping his hands.

I stare at him. "Matt? You're supposed to be dead?"

Matt stopped clapping and I noticed that he had a hole where one of his eyes should had been and blood on his chest. He grinned and stood up. "You're right Chad, I'm supposed to be dead.... because you killed me."

He started to approach me. "I was just sixteen, I had a fucking ambition. You cut my life short Chad!!!" He cried furiously.

"You - you don't understand," I stammered.
