Machine

"I'm always ready" with that words I get out of the car and she nod.

"Ok so come with me you already know the plan of building so just don't touch anything ok?" She said and I'm sure I won't listen but she has a card to get there so I must agree with her.

"Ok sure and one more thing" She stops and looks at me.

"What think?" She doesn't seem happy about losing time but I need to know.

"Well, yesterday I met something or someone I don't know what it is. It's a big black figure with white eyes. It looked so powerful. However, in that eyes, I could see worries of something." I ended my prologue and I can see fear in her eyes.

"I-I don't believe it! You found him!" I really have no idea what is she talking about and it's making me angry.

"Found who?!" I know I sound weird and scary but it's irritating me!

"Symbiote" I'm pretty confused right now because she looks happy and scared same time and it looks creepy.

"What is symbiote?" Simple question for not so simple thing.

"It's hard to explain but it's alien. He is from space our ships get him to earth for experiments. He is the most powerful being on this planet..." Ok, now I'm interested. That is alien! I don't know what to think I need to get to that. I want it.

"And he runs away from our lab. He is the only one who survives from others. There were three of them and two died. I thought we lost him! But now when I know he is in this city...he can be dangerous. He must find someone to merge with but that person is slowly dying. I'm sure he won't know that, but he will be the one who kills them." She stops talking and I have so many questions but we have only time for one so I have to choose.

"So what he can do?" This is the thing that I want to know the most.

"Well from our studies and experiments we know that he can heal animals or person he merges with. He can grow tentacles and some weapons or mass. And from what you said when he found the perfect person to connect he can turn them to one or how to say it. But we didn't study him for long so we don't know for sure." Ok, I'm happy I asked if it or he or what it is is really so powerful with it I would be unstoppable!

"Ok but now we need to go hurry!" She is already stressed out and we even don't get in the laboratory. She pull me by my arm and we started to get our way to the building. I can see a security door with something small on the door. She put out a card and pressed it against that sensor. It makes some noises and the door opens.

We step in and we are trying our best to be quiet. We are in a grey entering room with thank god no one here. I see some tables with chairs and a reception table. We are walking way to the lab and I know the way so I'm leading with her behind me.

We walked past some rooms and we are finally in the laboratory. There are a lot of computers and weird glasses with some creatures in them. I feel like in a movie. I'm taking pictures of everything and looking for something auxiliary I don't know for what. I can see a lot of drawings of some machine looking like a portal.

"What is this?" I need to know more my instinct is helping me again.

"It's our most hard, powerful, dangerous, and secret project. It's a multiverse machine." She replies quietly and at that moment I feel like I know what it's right. What I have to do.

I start walking slowly to another room to find that machine. It's bigger than I expected and I'm even more impressed.
It has big metal construction and looks like it's made of two spirals. I walk in the middle of that machine and I see a button probably to start it.

"Eddie please don't do that! It will take you far from home to a different universe! And it will take symbiote too. We get him with using that machine and it will take anything from different universes with you!" Oh, she is only helping me to press that button. Now when I know it will take alien with me too I want to press it so much. Not gonna lie I will press it.

She take out a gun and aimed at me. "Eddie don't make me do it please it's too dangerous!" Well, one little thing to add.

"I don't care" with these words I press a button and she shot me in the stomach. I get on my knees and spirals start spinning around me.

I start flying out of the ground and everything went bright. She runs away and I feel pain in every atom of my body. It feels like dying and reborning every second. And then the last thing I hear from this world is an explosion.
