The world seemed to melt around Messiah, as the words replayed over and over in her head. "I, um, I-I'm.."

Ross quickly interrupted her, "You don't have to say yes, I mean, uh, never mind. This was not the right time to ask, I'm sorry," Ross blushed a deep shade of red.

He unwrapped his arm from her shoulder, and stood up. "I, um..." He said, then walked back into the drama room.

Messiah broke down crying, sitting on the stairs. Her face turned red, and her makeup was streaming down her face in thick streaks. She cried for maybe five minutes, and then began to get control again. She stood up, and walked up the stairs, covering her face. She walked into the bathroom, and washed her face off. She quickly made it look like she had never cried at all, composed herself, and headed for the drama room again.

She didn't know what to expect when she walked back in. Most people had already forgotten, and were back to writing their scripts. Some were talking to Ross, who waved them away when she walked in to the room. He came up to her, and smiled. "So, lets keep writing, shall we?" He said with a wide grin.

Ah, the old act-like-nothing-ever-happened trick.

"Okay, are we going with the same theme still?" she asked.

"Yeah, I still like it.  What about you?"

"Yeah, sure," she said, "Alright then, where do we start?"

"Characters, remember?" Ross said.

"Oh, yeah, right." She said. "Got any ideas?"

"Well I'm thinking the story should be about a guy and a girl. You know, have that whole gender equality thing that Ms Princess Kenna likes,"

"Yeah, Kenna is pretty annoying. Okay, what are the names gonna be?" Messiah asked.

"How about you come up with the girls name, and I'll come up with the guys name. Sound good?" Ross suggested.

"Uh, sure," Messiah responded.

"Well the guys name should be Austin." Ross dramatically stated.

"Sure, okay. And the girls name should be... Anna." She finally said.

"Austin and Anna. Perfect." Ross laughed.

"We should put them in a place like we are in, you know. Make it more understandable to our audience." Messiah suggested.

"Yeah, okay. Austin and Anna, that are 9th graders in the most run down, yet rich kid filled highschool on the planet." Ross said, scribbling on his paper.

"Yeah, that sounds good. What will happen to them in the story?"

"How about the two of them are forced to get along and work togehter for some reason, and they end up just trying to find ways to survive this horrible school." He said.

"Okay. But we need more drama. Whats dramatic?" She asked.

"Love," Ross said, "All of the teen drama movies these days have love in them,"

"Yeah, alright. So here's what we have. Austin and Anna, two high school kids are forced to work together in school, and are both trying to find ways to survive school. In the end, the two fall in love,"

"Something should also have to be overcome, too. What's tough to overcome?" Ross asked.

"Shyness," Messiah said, almost in a trance.

"Okay, add that to the list, and we've got a story plot!" Ross cheered.

RING RING RING!

"Well that's the end of class, see you later, Messiah!" Ross called.

"Yeah, bye." Her voice faded to a whisper as Ross walked away.

I can't wait to see him again...
