A New Beginning (Keeper Of The Lost Cities)

Chapter 6

Sophie's Pov:

Sophie breathed a sigh of relief and she felt Fitz relax beside her as well. Sophie was still nervous for Willow but she was happy that Biana and Maddi would take care of her.

"Yes!" Dex said. "It worked!!!"

They all came into view.

"No it didn't." A familiar voice said.

Oh no, no, no, no, no!!!  Sophie thought

Maddison's Pov:

"Yes!" Dex said. "It worked!!!" 

Then they all starting coming into Maddi's sight.

"No it didn't." The words slipped out before she could stop them.

Everyone froze. 

They all slowly turned around to see Maddi. Her face was soaked with tears and she was ready to crumble onto the groud.

"Oh no!" Said Della. "Well at least Biana is there!"

"No, I'm not." Biana whispered flickering into view. "The strange figure took Willow before one of us had time to grab onto her shoulder. It was like we weren't in control of our brain. Like something was controlling us. That's at least that's how it was for me."

"Me too" Maddison responded sobbing softly. 

Sophie's Pov

All Sophie was thinking was that Willow would have to endure the same thing she had to go though when she was twelve. Torture. She wished she could go back into that little nook inside the back of her head to sheild herselfself from all the pain around her. But she couldn't. Wouldn't. Not while Willow was kidnaped. She needed to find a plan to get her back. NOW. she felt a warm arm softly wrap around her and she looked up to see Fitz silently crying. He wiped a tear of her cheek she didn't even know was there. 

"We ARE going to find her." He said. 

Maybe it was how calm he looked or the determination in his eyes, but at that moment, Sophie belived him.

Biana's Pov

I can't belive it. Biana thought. I let Willow get kidnaped. It was all because of me. Suddenly, Sophie spoke. 

"Biana, I know that look. Don't go down that road. We ARE going to find her."

She repeated the same words Fitz had said a couple seconds ago and Biana knew she needed to be strong. Not for her, but for Willow, Sophie, Fitz, Maddi and everyone around her. So she picked herself up and told her: "We will". 

Mr. Forkle's Pov

After all the others left with their kids. Everyone started anticipating the arrival of everyone who went to the wanderlings.

After everybody came back, Mr. Forkle noticed right away that something was wrong. Then he noticed. Biana and Maddison were with them but not Willow. 

"What happened?" He asked, a hint of worry in his voice.

Biana re-explained everything. All these words started swirling around in his head.

What if she doesn't make it? Is she still alive? What do we do now? How's Sophie doing? How's EVERYBODY doing? 

"Wait!" Grady said. Everyone turned to look at him. "Biana you said that you felt like you were not in control of your body? Like somebody was controling YOU?
