Chapter 14

Sophie's Pov:

When we glitter on to our property , we have unexpected guests. 

"Councillors! What a surprise! Is there something we can do for you?" I ask.

"We are just here to bring Pollux to a new home for a bit." Councillor Emery replise calmly.

"You already found him a house?" Willow asks.

"Not exactly. We have decided he will stay with Councillor Keefe for a bit so we can keep on eye on him." he responds.

"But I thought you said he was free!" she snaps back. 

"Willow, watch your tone. These are the Councillors." Fitz reminds her. 

"Sorry. But I still don't think that's fair. He'll be like a prisoner. And if he's here-"

"The matter has alredy been decided on miss Vacker! He still has to be watched so he IS going to go live with Councillor Keefe." Councillor Alina shoots back. 

"But-"

"Willow it's fine. I'll be ok." Pollux says. Willow looks at him doubtfully. Keefe comes towards her and whispers something in her ear. She smiles and then she says: "Ok". She and Keefe have always been close. Then the Councillors start to light leap away. Keefe takes out his home cristal but when the rest of the Council gone, he puts it back in his pocket. 

"Keefe? Is somthing wrong?" I ask. 

"Oh no. Just thought that this family needed a little quality Keefe time. It's been wayyyyyyyy to long."

"Yay! Can Keefe stay? Please please please please pleaseeeeeeeee?" Jolie beggs. 

"Yes of course. He can even stay for dinner." I say.

""Yes! That's what I'm talking about. Now Fitzy and I can finaly have some bro time!" Fitz rolls his eyes but smiles. 

"You don't have any Councillor stuff tonight?" William ask. Huh. He hasn't talked a lot today. I wonder why. He's always super exited when Keefe's here.

"Nope! No boring meetiong to attend too!" Keefe responds. 

"William can I talk to you for a sec?" Willow asks.

"Sure." 

William's Pov

"So uh what's up?" I ask unsertenly. 

"What do you mean what's up? What's up with you! You've bearly talked all day and when Keefe anounced he was staying for dinner, you bearly say anything. So YOU tell me what's up." Willow says.

"Fine. You want to know what's up?! I'll tell you! You could have told me about the ability! Again, I'm your brother! You don't need to hide stuff from me. I could have helped you with whatever you needed. And we could have had so much fun! But you didn't tell me. You only told Maddi. And I don't care that you told her. I care that you didn't tell me. Even though I tease you sometimes and we aren't the closest brother and sister, I'm still your brother. I still want to protect you. I still want to be apart of your life. But recently, you've just been shutting me out."

"Oh William. I didn't know you felt like that. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I promise I'll try to include you more."

"Yeah yeah. Can we skip all the sappy stuff?"

"Duh!" she responds. 

"Thanks. Now let's go back to see your boyfriend."

"He's not my boyfriend!" 

"Keep telling yourself that but it's obvious you like him and I'm pretty sure he likes you."

"Wait really?!"

"So you do care?" I ask.  

"Ugh you tricked me. Let's just go." 

I smirk and she rolls her eyes. Gosh, what a drama queen. I was merely getting her to admit her crush! 

Pollux's Pov:

"Where are theyyyyyyyy?" Jolie starts to whine. 

"They're just talking they'll be back soon then we can eat dinner." Sophie says soothingly. 

Willow and William finally come out of the spare room and sit down at the table for dinner. 

Willow looks at me and blushes. I think she likes me but I don't know what my feelings towards her are. 

"Okay! Let's eat!" Keefe exclaims. Wow, I am gonna live with this guy. I heard that he made the great gluon incident! He's basically my idol! I mean, who doesn't love this guy's pranks?!

~ Time skip ~ 

After dinner we all clear our dishes and then Keefe announces that he should leave. 

"And I guess that means Pollux is leaving too." He winks at me.

"Bye guys!" Willow says.

Keefe and I leave Everfield and leap to his castle. 

When we get to the entrance Ro, Keefe's old bodyguard meets us at the door with her baby, Sparkles. 

"Hey Ro!" Keefe says, "This is Pollux. He is gonna live with us for a while."

"Ohhhhhh, so your the boy who was with the neverseen." She says examining me. Sparkles starts to cry so she starts rocking her. 

"Where's Bo?" Keefe asks. "Bo is Ro's husband" he explains to me. "It's basically my fault that they're married. I was the creator of the ballad of Bo and Ro." 

"If I didn't have a baby in my arms you would be dead right now!" 

Willows pov:

After Pollux leaves I go to my room. Ugh I need to stop liking him! I decide to call Maddi.

"Show me Maddison Vacker." 

The imparter rings five times before turning off. 

Weird. Maybe she didn't get to it in time. I call again.

No answer.

I call five more times and each time there is no answer. I call Astro.

It rings 3 times and then he answers. 

"Hey Willow what's up?" He says unsure. "Does Maddi need something?"

Wait what?!

"I'm confused. Maddi isn't here." I tell him.

"Wait. This is a prank right?" 

"...no" I can't even get those words out of my mouth. 

"Nonononono" Astro starts panicking. 

"She's not home?!" I cry.

"No!! We all thought she was at your place!"  

Omigod. Maddi is missing.

"Astro, stay on this call." I say. "I'll be right back."

"MOOOOOM!!" I call.

She comes running up the stairs. "What is it?"

"Maddi is missing."
