The team was getting ready for the game and i was just talking with the girls till Adam Banks came in and all the attention was on him "Hey, Adam" I say Adam smiled just a bit.
Then my dad walked in. "Hey" he said looking at Adam "Wasn't sure if you'd show up"
"Yeah, whatever" Adam says "just wanna play hockey, you know" he says shrugging his shoulders. "Good." my dad tells him.
"Ducks, you all know this is Adam Banks" my dad says pointing to him.
"Well, o-on behalf of the Ducks i'd like to say welcome" Charlie walked to Adam to say hello or something but Jesse put a hand on charlie's chest stopping him from going anywhere.
"Cake-eater" Jesse says looking at Adam "Jesse!" i yelled
"Ooh, the Jess-man dissin the new guy! The Jess-ster!" Averman says
"Just shut up, Averman!!" me and Jesse yelled at the same time.
"it's just a j-joke.." Averman says. I feel bad for yelling at him sometimes..
"Puttin' on a Ducks jersey don't mean you're a real Duck" Jesse says getting in Adams face, then, Jesse left.
Everyone else started to leave as well.. I didn't..
I stayed "Hey, Adam. I promise they are a good group once you get to know them" i tell him smiling a bit. "I bet.." he answered and my dad frowned looking at me. "Just suit up and we will see you on the ice" my dad says leaving
I looked at him and smiled and gave him a reassuring nod and i walked away
Adam seemed so sweet though. I know why the team hates him, but he just wants to play hockey that's all.

On/At the ice
Conway had the puck "on your left" someone yelled. Charlie hit the puck to someone and the hit it. Someone from the other team tried to stop it, they fell. Adam was open but no one wants to hit it to him
"Over here! I'm open!" Adam shouted, Charlie hit it to someone and they kept hitting it back and forth.
"Up front!" Adam yelled "Pass it to Banks!" My dad yelled. Then someone was surrounding Charlie so he couldn't go anywhere
"Come on! Do somethin' with it!" Adam yells again.
Charlie gave up hit it to Adam, and he scored
"Yeah, all right!!" Adam yelled happily
"Way to go, Banks!" Connie yelled. We all hugged each other.
I could tell Jesse was so pissed off right now he didn't talk to any of us now or anything.
We told Gorldberg he was going to sit this one out.
"What?! You're pulling the goalie when we're tied?!" Karp said looking around. Then everyone started to yell at my dad
"Hey, listen, listen, listen" my dad repeated "A tie won't help us, we need the win. Okay, Fulton, you're our extra man. Everyone, get the puck to Fulton. That's your job." my dad told them "we pulling the Statue of Liberty play?" Fulton asked "Yeah?" everyone asked "No, take your shot. You may only get one, so it's gotta be good." i tell them answering their question.
"But, coach, one outta one??" Fulton asked my dad looking at him "Soft hands, Fulton. Concentration, not strength" Guy said looking at him then Guy looked at Connie and winked "That's right!" my dad says "Ok? Let's get the Huskies!" I say says.
The puck was dropped onto the ice and someone hit it to Fulton. He was about to hit it when someone went to get it and slipped going forward. They got up and started going for the Goal
"Come on!" I yelled. Fulton came and hit the guy and pushed him making him fall. Fulton took the puck while everyone was saying "shoot"
"Shoot, Fulton, Shoot!!" Me and my dad yelled.
He hit the puck and it went flying. Everyone jumped out of the way nervously. Then the puck hit the net and broke it!
"We won!!" the team yelled.
i smiled as we all hugged Fulton.
