Chapter 1

"Did you get the job done?" A man'd deep, raspy voice sounded in front of a girl as she walked out of the abandoned building. Her silver baby hung from her belt and banged against her side as she slid her petite body into the red convertible.

"Yep. The job is done, thank god. Now drive me home, I have plans tonight." Glaring out the window, she could still hear the screams of the man as he died in front of her. It never got easier, which is why she didn't allow herself to care. If she cared, she would stand a better chance of getting hurt.

"Of course Darcy. But may I ask, how did you do it?" Again the man asked her least favorite question. Her job was simple, if someone did something to the town or someone important she stepped in. Some people targeted her as the bad guy, but then others target her as the one they can lean on for support. There were a few that didn't know what to think but she had managed to get a reputation in this place.

This time, the man had broken into the company's house and injured one of her own. Since he had gone that far, she had to make him suffer. And suffer he did.

"No. You can't ask that, my missions are private." Turning her head to the side and squinting she could just make out the shape of her huge, lonely house.

It was exactly forty minutes from the nearest city and pretty remote since the closest house house wasn't for miles. Also, the girl's family had been lucky enough to have this house on the beach and could go swimming whenever they wanted. The house itself was three stories high. It was a nice white with blue outlining the windows, garage and roof. Her room was in the basement and had the best window to sneak out from in case of work or emergencies. Their was one other bedroom downstairs along with a theater room and a living room with a bar. Of course since the basement was her's and she was under age, the bar just had pop and weird colorful nonalcoholic drinks.

"Here we are. I'll let you know when your next mission is Darcy." Nodding her head in agreement. She slipped out of the car and to her house without another word.

As soon as her feet hit the soft carpeted floor after jumping through her small window, she pulled her long straight black wig off and removed the blue contacts in her eyes. Blinking a couple times, the girl fixed her long wavy auburn hair and admired her light purple eyes for a moment. The two features that made people really remember her, were the striking purple eyes and bird birthmark on her wrist. She believed that she wasn't a very pretty girl so it made sense that she had never had a boyfriend before.

Aside from her eyes and birthmark, there was nothing really special about her. Sadly, I had to wear large brown and black nerd glasses because I was pretty much blind. I also had long wavy brown hair, I was a bit bigger but had lots of muscle, since I played a lot of sports in my spare time and also worked out with for my job. My skin was tan and I was one of the tallest girls in school, standing at 5'9. I had my nose pierced with a small silver diamond stud. As well as that, I had my ears and belly button pierced. (A/N Pic on the side of Kat.)

"Kat! Can you come up here for a moment?" Hearing my mothers voice shook me from my little trance.

"Yeah. I'm on my way." Shaking my head, I quickly exited out of my room and rushed to the bar where my parents were waiting for me. "What do you guys need?" Reaching around my father, I turned on my stereo to Justin Bieber and got us all drinks.

Grinning from ear to ear my mother pointed to the stereo. "We're going to be seeing Justin Bieber in a California concert tonight." Jumping and spinning around I looked at her bewildered. "We also have front row tickets and backstage passes. It's at eight and we are leaving around seven." Since I couldn't speak, I ran over and hugged my mother tightly.
