"Are you ready?" Jungkook asked Taehyung.
"Are you sure we won't get in trouble for doing this?" Taehyung asked.
"Maybe, but we have the members' support and that's all that counts." Jungkook said.
The two were about to go on live and sing a song they wrote together. Since it seemed like it would take forever for a Taehyung-Jungkook sub-unit to happen — they were working on one for Taehyung and Jimin / Jungkook and Suga at the moment — the two decided to talk to their hyungs and told them that they would be performing the song during live streaming but not as an official single of the group, nor as BTS members, but just as "regular folks." In fact, they won't even be streaming on the company's official streaming app, but on a closed public platform.
Why do they want to do it? Taehyung found out that Go-Eun and Belle were helping an international non-profit organization who helps victims of bullying, domestic violence, sexual harrasment and abuse. So, to help, the two will hold the live streaming which can be accessed for a fee of just $5. They're hoping that with just their followers alone, $5 per follower will go a long way for the organization.
Thirty minutes before they went on live, the two posted details of the live streaming in their social accounts. To their surprise, the other BTS members shared their post in their own social accounts as well. Fifteen minutes before the live started, Taehyung's phone rang and it was Go-Eun calling.
G: Hello, Taehyung!!
T: Yes, noona? Is there a problem?
G: Oh no problem at all, I just called to say that one of the founders of the BE Organization called me up. Taehyung, they already have 85 million dollars as of five minutes ago.
T: What?!
G: Thank you so much Taehyung that is more than enough.
T: That is happy news noona. That would give a lot of victims access to free professuonal help and assistance, right?
G: Yes, Taehyung, it definitely will. Please thank Jungkook and the rest of the BTS members as well.
T: We will, noona. See you soon.
Taehyung and Go-Eun said their goodbyes after.
"Gguk, we've already made 85 million dollars for the foundation. Can you believe that?!"
"Seriously?! Wow. That's a lot of help!!!" Jungkook said.
"Thank you for agreeing to do this with me, Gguk. Best first anniversary celebration ever!" Taehyung said as he pecked Jungkook's cheek.
"Ok, I think we can start. It's five minutes to streaming time." Jungkook said. So, the two went to their seats and started the live.
