Two weeks have passed and the police still couldn't find Taecyeon. This is why Jungkook and Taehyung could not leave Daejeon yet.  Seoul and Daejeon police started working together on the case and both Seojoon and Hae-In agreed that it would be best for Taehyung to stay at Daejeon for the meantime.

Taehyung's wounds have completely healed — the physical wounds, at least.  His emotional and mental trauma were still a problem for Taehyung and the nightmares that happen once in a while were not helping at all. Thankfully, Jungkook was always with him when he had them and the maknae cradling Taehyung back to sleep has become a routine for them. It helped Taehyung a lot.

The other person that made sure to keep Taehyung's disposition positive was Go-Eun. Having gone through a similar experience, she made sure to check on Taehyung regularly, guiding the younger as much as she could.  She also kept him busy around the house, giving Taehyung no chance to wallow in despair. Today, she asked Taehyung and Jungkook  to pick strawberries at their green house.

"So, how would we know if the strawberry is already ripe enough for us to pick?" Taehyung asked Jungkook since they forgot to ask Go-Eun before she left for work.

"Just look at the bottom of it. If it's purely red, then that means it's good enough to eat, so good enough to pick." Jungkook said.

"How do you know that?"

"Because it's common knowledge, Tae."

"No it's not."

Jungkook chuckled. "I know. I researched online."

"You're mean." Taehyung shook his head and pouted. "You like making fun of me, don't you."

"No, I just like you. Period." Jungkook said making Taehyung's cheeks turn red.  Jungkook suddenly planted a kiss on Taehyung's cheek.

"Jungkook!"

"Sorry, your cheeks were so red, it was good enough to peck."

Taehyung laughed. "You're such an idiot."

The two were about to start picking when they heard girls laughing somewhere in the greenhouse.

"Gukkie, there's someone here." 

Before they could wear their masks, three girls in highschool uniform came out of nowhere. They were holding a can of beer and one of them was even smoking.  Obviously, they trespassed and found the greenhouse a conducive hangout place as it was just a few blocks away from school.

The three girls were shocked to see Jungkook and Taehyung that they suddenly tossed the beer cans and cigarette away.  Two of the girls ran away but one of them stood frozen when she saw Jungkook.

"Oh my god, Jeon Jungkook?!" The girl squealed.

"Um, who?" Jungkook feigned ignorance hoping the girl would just go away.

"You're Jungkook from BTS!"

"I'm sorry, I think you mistook me for someone."
