Chapter 2_At first sight

Kris P.O.V.

"What a beautiful morning! The vast blue sky, the wide open sea, the fresh air that softly blows in your hair and the sun smiling at you in the morning.Indeed, this is really a paradise island.", I said to myself as I opened the window of my room.

I was still feeling the moment when someone called me.

"Kris! Kris! Come down here and join us for breakfast!"

I looked down and saw my aunt Marie smiling at me. She was with her son, my cousin Andrew. They liked taking breakfast outside the house because of the view.

"Okay aunt Marie! I'll be there in 5 minutes.", I replied. Didn't you notice I didn't use any harsh words? Well, this is me when I'm being cool! Hahaha.. Oh, I forgot to tell you, I will be leaving with them and there house is near the seashore.

"Okay son! We'll wait for you." -aunt Marie

It's been a long time that someone called me "son". Aunt Marie is just so sweet. She's totally different from my mothe--from her sister, my sister's mother. Who is also my mother but not anymore. I stop calling her mother since the day she left us for her other family.

"Tss! Enough if this talksh*t!", I said to myself.

I just fix myself then joined them for breakfast.

"How's your sleep son?" - aunt Marie asked.

"It was good. This place is really peaceful. I just hope I won't get bored here!" - me (harsh)

"Don't worry Kris! Surely you'll have fun tonight!" - Andrew

"There will be a party tonight at 6 pm at the nearby resort and we got invited! You wanna come?" - Andrew

"Yeah sure!", I hesitately answered.

"Tss! What kind of party is that?! 6:00 pm?", I said to myself.

*Later that evening*

"Kris! Kris! Hurry up! The party already started!" - Andrew

"Okay! Okay! I'm coming! Tss! Excited much?" - me

*At the resort*

"Lyza!", - Andrew calling a girl from a distance.

"Drew!", - Lyza (approaching us)

"Sino kasama mo?", - Drew

"Si Ivy! Pero ewan ko asan na yon. Inihatid niya lang sa kusina 'yong mga ini-order na mga kakain nang management nitong resort." - Lyza

"Ah ganoon ba!" - Drew

Tss! Spell "Out of Place", yeah that's me. I'll just walk around the resort for awhile. Until I found myself at the back of the resort.

"Ay nako Sir, salamat po ha. Ang dami-dami yong inorder na kakain. Makakatulong to sa'min ni lola ko." - pretty girl, I mean a simple girl.

I can't avoid listening to these to people talking in front of me. Well, they can hardly see me here since I'm of the dark corner.

"Walang anoman iha! At saka maganda ka naman eh!" - manager (starting to hold the girl's arms)

"Teka! Bitawan niyo po ako!" -girl (Trying to let go of her hands.)

"Bibigyan naman kita ng extrang pera eh!" -manager (Trying to kiss her.)

"Huwag! Huwag po! Maawa po kayo! Bitawan niyo po ako!" -girl (Started to cry.)

I don't understand what the girl is saying but I understand that the girl is already afraid and hurt.

"Let her go or else I'll put you in the hospital. Do you want me to put you in the hospital?" -me (Approaching them.)

"Aba gago to ah!" -manager (Trying to punch me. But before his fist could hurt me, my fist already landed in his stomach.)

"Urrgghh..." -manager (Screaming in pain then lost his consciousness.)

"Huhuhu! Huhuhu!" -girl (Crying loudly.)

"You! Aren't you going kick that bast*rd?" -me

"Huhuhu! Huhuhu!" -girl (Still crying.)

"Will you shut up? When do you plan stop from crying?" -me

"Huhuhu! Huhuhu!" -girl (Crying even more louder.)

Before someone could hear her and see what I did to that manager, I dragged her to the seashore.

"Huhuhu! Huhuhu!" -girl

"Seriously, stop crying already! You're not pretty when you cried!" -me

"Hahaha!" -girl

Honestly, I think she's crazy! Kidding!

"Thank you!" -girl

"Don't mention it!" -me

"I'm Ivy!" -she said while extending her hand for hand shake and then smiling sweetly at me.

She's really beautiful. Such sweet and angelic face! And her smile is really sincere.

"Hoy! Hoy!" -ivy while waving her hands at my face

"Stop it! You're gonna hit my eyes." - me

"Natulala ka kasi!" -ivy

"What?" -me

"Nothing! I said, I'm ivy!" - ivy then extended her hands again.

"I'm Kris!" - me then reached for her hand

I never thought that someone could mesmerized by her beauty.

"Ivy...!" - Lyza

"Kris!" -Andrew

"Akala ko umuwi ka na ivy!" -Lyza

"Aba! Kris,magkakilala na pala kayo ni ivy. Teka! Kris, is that a handshake or holding hands already? Hahaha.." -Andrew

Only then we realized that we still held each other's hand. That's why we immediately let go of each other's hand.

"Uhmm..Ivy, uwi na tayo. Tara na!" -Lyza (Then dragged her and leave us.)

"Let's go home Drew! I'm already tired." -me

Then we went home. It was a troublesome day. But the best part of it is meeting that girl. And I think, I just fall in love with her at first sight.
