We all stand in a room looking around. I can't believe I'm here I'm actually a doctor.
I enter the changing room and get into the light blue scrubs. I think To myself about how exited I was. This nice guy walks over to us and introduces himself as George O'Malley. He starts to describe what another girl Meredith was wearing. He slowly stop talking and reasoned some thing "now you think im gay". I smile lightly at him thinking it was quiet cute how he had remembered exactly what she was wearing. We all get called to go to are boss as we walk up she immediately started talking.
"I have five rules memorise them rule number one – don't bother sucking up I already hate you and that's not gonna change trauma protocol, phone lists, pages. nurses will page you you will answer every page At a run. a run! that's a rule number two your first shift starts now and last 48 hours your Interns grunts noobies bottom of the surgical food chain you ran labs write orders work every second night until you drop and don't complain on call rooms attendance hogg them sleep when you can and where you can which brings me to rule number three if I'm sleeping don't wake me unless the patient is actually dying . The patient better not be dead when I get there not only will you have killed someone you would've woke me up with a good reason are we clear."
Meredith asked about rule number 5 to which dr Bailey says " rule number five and I move you move."
As we run down the to ER are first patient is called katie Bryce. Me and George were sent to do a patient work up but after that we start going around the hospital and helping doctors we walk in with dr Burke who gets George to draw blood. George keeps trying but can't get it so I step in and take the blood easily.
We were all sat around the table talking about Ellis grey when Meredith walks in and says "I want to kill her". Me Burke walks In and announces that he will pick one of us to do the surgery and to everyone's surprise he chooses George.
As we're all in the gallery and everyone was betting what he will do wrong so I decided to step up and say something I mean I am going to be working with him and he seems really nice so. "50 says he'll pull the whole thing off". I watching intensely and then all o fan sudden he freezes up .
"No ones whispering 007 would we ever lie to you" "yes yes you would" he replied, I smiled weekly at him.
I was sat with George he's was complaining about his parents being to supportive and thinking he was a hero. I looked at him almost confused by what he is saying . "I think your lucky my parents were never there and top when they were they would tells me that I was never enough, I then went into the Foster system and it just got worse, I've never had a supportive parental figure. You mum is like a dream to me" I smiled thinking about how I would be if I Had a mum like mrs O'Malley.
We all walk out of the hospital and it was official are first shift was over. We all laughed as we talked about the most random things ever.
