You were heading over to Dave's house after he had invited you over. For what? You didn't know. You were completely clueless, but everyone else knew that Dave had an obvious crush on you, and you felt the same! It was just that you had no idea how to express it to the man, and doubts constantly flooded your mind. Dave was a really nice guy, and if he ever rejected you, you think it'd split your heart in two. While driving over, you got a text from Dave.

"Hey Y/n, Bambi really wanted to join, so I hope you don't mind if he hangs out with us. By the way, how much longer till you're here?"

You replied instantly, of course while mostly putting your focus on the road.

"I'll be there in about 5 minutes probably and of course i don't mind if bwmbi is there!"

You cursed yourself at the small typo you made. The road was more important anyways. Honestly, as much as Bambi is your friend you never get to spend that much time alone with Dave, and it kinda bummed you out that Bambi was going to be there. You couldn't say that though, the funni corn man is still great, and you wouldn't want to indirectly hurt his feelings.

After what seemed like an eternity, you arrived at Dave's house. Walking up to the door and knocking you awaited a response. It was the beginning of the year, so it was a little chilly. You heard some commotion inside, and footsteps heading to the door.

"DAVE I CAN'T REACH THE DOOR!" You could clearly recognize Bambi's shouting. He was quite short for a person, so you weren't surprised he couldn't reach the doorhandle. In the meanwhile you chuckled to yourself as Dave rolled over with his wheelchair and opened the door. Dave looked to Bambi, smiling smugly. "This is why I always get the door." Bambi only grumbled in response, and walked off.

"Anyways, hi Y/n! It's so nice that you came. We haven't talked in person for awhile so I thought that I'd invite you over to my place so we could hangout!" Dave seemed to speak at a faster pace than usual. Overall, he seemed pretty excited and happy you were here. You grinned at him, equally as happy. "Well of course! You are basically my favorite person in the whole world." You tried to choose your words carefully. "Also, I had nothing to do tonight anyways, so what better than to spend it here with you and Bambi?" Dave moved backwards, and you walked in while closing the door behind you.

Dave's house was.. okay. Nothing luxurious, but still a cozy place to stay. Bambi walked out of the kitchen with a bowl of- "POPCORN!" He shouted, thrusting the bowl up to you. "O-oh! Thanks, Bambi." You grabbed some popcorn, and popped it in your mouth [hehe pun]. It wasn't buttered, sadly, and tasted very slightly burnt, but still good.

Dave was pulling out some games you all could play, whether it was board games or video games. "Alright, here are some things we can play. I have mario kart-" "Mario kart!" You and Bambi shouted in unison. Dave coughed. "I wasn't finished listing the games out-" If you knew one thing, you knew Dave sucked at mario kart. You and Bambi both shredded Dave whenever you played it, which was at least 90% of the time. "It's always mario kart with you guys, why can't we play something else for once? Even a truth or dare game would be better than playing mario kart again!" He complained, waving his hands around. "You only say that because you are bad at it!" Bambi retorted, smiling. Dave wasn't amused. "Alright, if you don't want to play mario kart again, then how about we really do truth or dare, hm?" You offered, to which Dave glared at you. He thought for a good minute, before finally replying. "Fine. Only because the last time we played mario kart I almost broke the screen in a fit of rage." Bambi threw his hands up, cheering. "WOO! TRUTH OR DARE!" All of a sudden, you were worried as to what sort of shenanigans would happen.
