CHAPTER 39 : Assault Begins

"Yuko-senpai!"

"Oh Y/n-chan!"

"I'll be going home now, how about you?" asked her towards the leader of Judo in her junior school year 2003, those two are now in the dojo where they usually practice.

"Aiya kept begging me to train her, she's still mad that she was left out by everyone including you since she's a newbie here." Answered Yuko.

Y/n rolled her eyes, "Tch, Aiya as always being competitive, she didn't even want to accept the fact that I'm new as well but only several weeks different period of time!"

Yuko laughs as she then patted her on the head. "Typical of your best friend there, get going now Y/n, it's getting late."

"Alright! See you tomorrow Yuko-senpai!"

"Be careful!"

With that Y/n made her way out of the dojo to the school gate, but she turns her head back once more before completely left. If on that day she decided to stay longer, if she was stronger and she was there.

She could've saved Yuko from her painful death.

No one never told her the details the cause of her gone, what she heard from Aiya, Kyo, and Hakuba was because a sudden group of loon surround Yuko and attack her in place when she was about to get home.

But after what she heard earlier, Kyo and Hakuba were in Dark Skull all along? That gang was the one who cause her death?

"You know Y/n-chan, maybe angels never smiled around me, instead I have to smile for them."

"Huh? What do you mean? Who say that?"

"NAKANO-CHIN!!!"

Y/n slowly opened her eyes, her whole body somewhat numb, but she could feel her both arms were tied in a rope until realize she was tie along with Aiya behind her back.

"You're awake, thank goodness." Aiya sighs in relief behind the pole.

"What happened? Where are we?" the (h/c) girl look around that they were trapped inside an empty building, more like a huge shed.

But Y/n was surprised next when she could hear sounds of dozen people outside, the voice was so familiar like back in three years ago when she snuck in to stopped Toman against Valhalla.

"Aiya, the people whose outside are—"

"Yup, Toman. I'm not sure how they get here but the battle seems already begun when were unconscious, and our plan... It worked."

So when Y/n somehow heard Mikey called her nickname was true, she thought that it was part of her dream earlier but it was not, he's here, no, all the squad is here to end this and saves them.

Flashback: 5 hours ago

Takemichi and Ohtomo now were still hiding behind a large three across from the star-three restaurant to stalk the situation from afar.

"Ohtomo-kun if something goes wrong, we have to quickly jump back into your car okay?"

Ohtomo rolled his eyes, "Takemichi-san, you've been telling me about that for like ten times, I get it alright?!"

The yellow haired guy sheepishly smiles, "Sorry it was just I'm so nervous, everyone is counting on us from here."

"I know, let's just hope what Mikey-san said is right."
