chapter 5 •moving out•

Y/N's pov

Because of the incident a few weeks ago I decided to sell my house and move to a penthouse

I know kana would still get to me but I feel more safer here at least I'm not alone. I can greet people downstairs every morning when I go to work

Izuku said he'll be helping me with moving my stuff. When he came he helped me carrying heavy stuff like my bed, my office table and chair, my big size L shape couch, and my flat screen TV

He also helped me with my big fridge that only thing inside it is nuggets and my favorite drink

While we were resting on my couch the doorbell rang. I went to open it and the staff from downstairs greeted me, I looked at her name tag and it said that her name is Shannon

"Hi Shannon, how may I help you?" I asked "he said he's your kid, he keep bothering us downstairs" Shannon said as she pushed a little boy towards me "oh uh. I'll take care of it from here. Thank you Shannon"

Shannon walked away, the sound of her heels and mouth chewing a gum echoed through the hallway

I looked at the boy that looks like me as a child but in a male version he got my round e/c eyes and my h/c hair

"Come in?" I said, he walked in my home. He took of his shoes and putted them on the side

Well that's good he's well mannered

I walked back to the living room "oh y/n I didn't know you had a kid" izuku said while patting the head of the kid

"I didn't know either" I said walking towards them "what do you mean" izuku asked, he stopped patting the kids head and stood up facing down on me

"I was never pregnant or had a relationship or had a one night stand" I said then gaze back to the kid "what's your name?" I asked

He looked at me and then he reached to his backpack. He took out a notebook and pointed on the first page

"Your name is kei?" The boy nodded "why aren't you speaking kei?" I asked "maybe he's shy or nervous" izuku said

"Yea maybe" I looked at izuku "so what are you going to do with him?" Izuku asked "uh, I'm bad with kids and I make them cry often but he seem like he doesn't have anywhere to go, so maybe I could keep him for awhile, while we find his real parents"

I said, izuku insisted to take care of the kid but I declined cause he already helped me with moving and I wanna know more about this kid

Both of us stared at each other awkwardly, the whole penthouse was silent the clocks and ac we're the only ones that are making the noise

"Y...you want nuggets?" I asked, he didn't respond and just kept staring at me. I stood up and went to cook some nuggets

I placed it on my island. Kei went to look at the nuggets. He was trying to peek put he can't, my island was too tall for him

I carried him and placed him on the chair. He was surprisingly light and I almost can feel his bones

I sat next to him and gave him a fork. I lightly pushed the plate to him. He looked at me like was waiting for my permission to eat

"Go on, eat as much as you like. Your very skinny like a skeleton" I commented

He ate like a hungry pig, he was all messy when he finished the whole plate

"Hey kei, what is in your bag" I asked pointing at his bag. He opened it and showed me what's inside it. It only has a pencil that has bite marks and a notebook

He doesn't even have any clothes or anything he could wear. "Are you done?, If you are come on and come with me. We're gonna buy you your things"
