Tartaglia
"Mona, if you do that one more time...." I start to speak to one of my more experienced workers here, Mona.
I walked in on her suckling the blood out of Lumine, in one of the bodies of another girl. The pink haired one-Yanfei I believe.
The mage and I are bickering in the chemistry lab of my castle. I normally only come in here if I need to yell at someone or demand something.
Mona and Sucrose work in here a lot, making potions and coming up with theories to why things are the way they are.
"Sir, I swear I just wanted to know if she had any romantic attraction to any women." Mona bends her arm and holds out her hand. "So your chances with her are higher."
I fold my arms, visibly irritated by the mage's way of thinking. "You did not need to go that far to figure that out. You could've just used one of the 'Honesty Potions' you and Sucrose make all of the time."
Mona shrugs. "Eh, the way I did it was much better, and delicious as well."
I groan, and bring one of my gloved hands up to rub my temple. Mona had a smirk on before, but she's seem to wipe it off when I did that gesture.
"Okay. Fine." She sputters out as she lowers her arms. "I won't do it again."
I stop rubbing my temple but keep my hand there, I glare down at the short Mage in front of me.
"Good." I swipe my hand away from my face, reaching down towards Mona, I lift her face up. Her pale eyes look into my own. "If you do it again, you wouldn't want to know what would happen."
Mona opened her mouth, about to say something. She was interrupted when a door was slammed open, following the noise of glass bottles being banged together.
Me and her both turn our heads to the door that was opened.
Ah, look who's here. Sucrose. Perfect timing.
"I am s-so sorry! Am I interrupting something?" She asks in her shy voice, fragile as always. I take my hand away from Mona and hide it behind my back.
I wave my hand towards Sucrose. Telling her to come near us. "No, you aren't for once."
She nervously laughs and walks over towards Mona, she is holding two beakers, one with a red substance inside one and the other is empty.
"So. How's Lumine?"
Mona flinched when I asked Sucrose that, aware that she caused Dear Lumine this much pain and almost killed her. What I would've done without Lumine...
I have no idea.
I may have only known her for, what? A day at most? Well, I already know she is the one for me. The only problem is, she despises me and it is very clear by her tone of voice and actions towards me.
Sucrose clears her throat. "She's doing fine..." she pauses. "Her neck is going to take a long time to heal, however the bite mark on her neck should be gone quickly."
I glare towards Mona, I almost forgot she did that to the starlight Lumine. She bit her shoulder, vampires know the only time you do that is if you love somebody. It is a sign of ownership.
"It better be gone quickly." I mumble out, my lip raising the slightest to show my canine.
Mona averts her eyes and her lips move, mouthing a 'sorry'.
Sucrose shivers on the spot. She then gasps and fumbles with the beaker that has the red substance in it, it has to be blood. What else would it be?
"Oh! And I also got some of Miss. Lumine's blood. I did some tests on it and-"
