Kara POV
I don't think I've ever run that fast in my life. I may be exaggerating this a bit, but I think we ran at LEAST 2 miles. My heart was beating so fast, I thought I was gonna die. "Leah, what is going on?! Why are we running, and what are we running from?!" I gasped out of breath , wanting to know what was going on. "Leah?! Aren't you going to say something?" "Kara, stop" she told me, while stopping herself. "Oh thank god, I couldn't handle anymore running. How far have we been running?" My heart might be done for now. "Uhh, about 2 and a half miles, why?" She calmly said. Now that I noticed it, she wasn't as out of breath as I was. "Now I know why you're so much better at track than I am." I was a lot more calmer after all that running. I don't know why, it just calms me down at times. As if she knew what I was thinking, Leah asked, "I'm gonna guess that the running calmed you down?" "Yeah, I'm actually really calm now." That's the truth, I mean now that I think about it, how cool is it that my best friend in the whole world is a werewolf? At first there was no way that I believed her, but the glowing eyes said it all. "That's good, for a second I thought you would hate my guts or something" "Leah, I could NEVER hate you, you're my best friend!" I reassured her while giving her tightly. "I'm glad I can talk to you about this now. Talking to Ryan or my parents just doesn't feel right. Plus you and I talk about everything." "I'm glad too Leah."

Leah POV
I'm glad that Kara was calmed down. Running always helped her calm down. It always helped me too in a way. I was almost certain that we had outrun the alpha, how I don't know. But, another scent filled my nose, one of the worst smelling colognes ever. That could only mean one thing: Ryan. Don't get me wrong, I love my brother. But, his choice in cologne, I don't love. I spun around and saw my brother's best friend Alex, (who I used to have a MAJOR crush on) standing behind me. "Where's Ryan? I can smell his disgusting cologne from here." I said, scrunching my nose. Like, seriously, this stuff was BURNING my nostrils. "He was right behind me. No clue where he went." "I'm right here dude." I looked around, I couldn't see him anywhere. Then I remembered something from when we were younger. I sped off, and stalked silently in the tree I had just jumped into. I tapped my brother's shoulder, and he flinched and spun around quickly, so I hid. "Who's there?" I said nothing, waiting for when I could pounce. "Lee, that you?" Still, I said nothing. He turned back around, and I took my chance to attack. I jumped out at him knocking both of us out of the tree. I was grateful however, that Ryan broke my fall. He grunted in pain as I landed on him. "Hi!" I greeted him cheerfully. "I hate you" he coldly stated. "Yeah, I know. But who cares?" I got off of him and went to help him up. He took my hand, and I let go. he fell down with yet another grunt of pain. "This, this is why I didn't want mom and dad to have another kid. You are literally, the worst sister ever!" "Aww, thanks big bro! That means a lot! Although, let's be real here, you aren't winning any 'best brother in the world awards either.' That's just facts." "Whatever Lee." "Are you guys done?" Alex said with a hint of annoyance. "Yes." Ryan and I said simultaneously. "Good, because I think that alpha is back." He stated pointing behind us. We turned around and...A/N: We just love cliffhangers don't we? And before you tell me I'm a terrible person, don't bother, I know. It keeps me up at night. LOL. See u later! PLEASE: VOTE & FOLLOW!
