Casting day

"Andy would you quit screwing about with your Instagram and get in the car!" My best friend Annie says as I click post then get shove my phone into my green satchel bag.

"Sorry I'm all yours now promise!" I say smiling as Annie nods and grins, "that's good because we got about an hour to chat, this audition room is ages away."Annie announces as I grin.

"Bets now that you are going to take wrong turnings at least a eighteen times." I say smugly as she grins smugly. "I would say you could drive us but then again that would include a license and the capability to drive two things of which you don't have." Annie bites back as I roll my eyes and push my sunglasses down.

"One I am on top form for my besties big day and two it's sunny for the first time in weeks, who knew London could be bright!" Annie says grinning as I smile.

"I'm just glad I made callbacks from the video audition I sent in, I thought I'd fold under the pressure of you continuously going "hi I'm  Moira Rose" in a really deep voice but hey I managed to get through without one awkward laugh." I smiling.

"Hey schitts Creek is the shit and it cheered you up and distracted you from your post audition anxiety." Annie mutters as I nod in agreement.

"It did, who knew I'd be sat going to stay in a hotel for a couple of nights whilst i Audition for some American tv show." I say as I smile.

"Umm rephrase that right now it's not just any American TV show it is shameless with the Mickey Milkovich" Annie mutters dramatically as a roll my eyes , geez she really rides my ass about Mickey Milkovich this and Mickey Milkovich that, she told me if she don't marry Mickey Milkovich than life ain't worth living that's the kind of girl Annie Is, she's the type to fall in love with a TV character even if it just is a character, she's the type to go to the gym seven days a week for six months just because Chris Evans said he's an ass man (and yes she did that).

The type of girl to start smoking because it was trending as guys like girls that smoke.

The type of girl to intimidate other girls without meaning to but just radiating pure confidence with zero insecurity Truth Be Told she intimidated me the first time I met her let's go back In time

The only time in my life where she was ever shorter than me she was a tiny girl with a head full of extraordinary thoughts of Haribo gummy bears and prince Naveen from the Princess and the frog.

She was the blonde to my brunette even if we did fight like crazy she always had my back and I always had hers but here we are on our way to Rhoddown  Studios
To finish my in person audition to a be an actress on some fancy American tv show.

I'm not sure if I want to be an actress singing has always been my passion but I needed to make the point of telling me that I can make my way up the ladder if that's even a thing anyway I've worked as well as things.

Let's list them.

Waitress at the sleaziest bar in town where I was nearly kidnapped.

At an old peoples home (which sounded chill in all fairness if I didn't have the tolerance of a raging Bull but I do, everybody finds old people cute but I find them crotchety and stuck in their own way, plus the old men kept slapping my ass.)

And lastly a postwomen (I loved dogs until I was a postwomen then I loved them alittle less.)

And now I make my earnings of a small royalties I get from my singing covers on YouTube and Instagram singing is my passion that always has been I'm not great with words until I'm singing I'm getting all my feelings out but I don't know being an actress sounds interesting stepping out of my shoes and being someone else for the day sounds splendid if you ask me but who knows I might not get it.

"Hello I said can you put some Taylor swift on!" Annie says waving her free hand in front of my face pulling me out of my trance as I smile and nod.
