Pulling the baseball cap over my head to hide my face, I walk into the hotel which was surprisingly wonderfully scented with plumeria.

I blended in well with the crowd, with my cap over my full hair, rumpled suit trousers and a vintage shirt. Not many people spared me a glance and that was just what I was reaching for.

It was becoming a three-ring circus in the lobby of the hotel. A queue of some German tourists were lined up at the desk, mothers were dragging their wailing children around, even a presentation on tourist attraction was taking place thirty feet away from where I was, with slides, films and even native music. Perfect. No one even bothered to pay me any attention.

My phone ringing in my pants pocket distracts me from the commotion around me and I pick it up, placing one hand over my other ear.

"You can come in, it's secure." Vuk's voice flows through the phone into my ear.

"What room?" I ask, heading for the elevator, simultaneously pulling my cap down as I sight several cops scanning the crowd. "Okay, be right there."

After pressing in the floor I was headed, I sighed when the door closed.

These past few days have been hectic. Agents and cops were patrolling over my house few hours after I left the office that I didn't have enough time to pack enough things from my apartment. It's sickening to know that just a phone call can end my career.

The Huntress is going to pay. I'd make her bleed to death. Make sure she feels every drop of blood that leaves her body.

The elevator door slides open and I count the numbers on the doors before getting to the one I was looking for.

I give the door a knock, hoping, praying, this isn't a trap.

The door creaks open and I step in, looking around the rather clean room.

"Any news?" I ask, walking over to the couch.

"Nice to see you too." Vuk replies dryly, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Sorry, I'm in my feelings." I respond, pulling my lower lips into my mouth while Vuk just waves me off and that was when I noticed his bruised knuckles. "What happened?"

He follows my sight, looking down at his knuckles before pulling his hand into a fist beside him. "It's nothing."

"It's something, now tell me." I urge him, watching him pick up his laptop and avoiding my eyes.

"Jack kept saying shit about you so I lost my temper and hit him." he finally responds and I shake my head.

"Don't jeopardize your job like that just because of me Vuk." I warn him and he shrugs.

"If you're leaving then I'm leaving." he says bluntly, looking me in the eyes. "If they fire you then I'm resigning. I joined the team for you and the debt I owe you, so it doesn't matter."
