her fingers double tapped her screen every few videos , scrolling through her for you page on tiktok. she scrolled the top of her screen down seeing it was 5:45. she had been on the app for a few hours
she left the app checking her notification center reading the notifications. some read from her brother , some her mother , and some her friends group chat. one only grabbed her attention a instagram notification from connie.
now it was a shock to her she had to admit , it's not like they weren't friends but she wasn't sure they were or if they weren't. what brought her to think that led back to the day she saw what he posted on his story.
it was something about him calling armin his babydaddy or something , so she called him fruity. leading to an argument he supposedly "cut her off" but she would still try and talk to him , only to be left on seen.
so later that day they ended up talking although she carried their conversation , it was like he didn't want to talk to her. but she put that over herself and still tried to talk to him. so she apologized but that's when it suddenly went downhill.
once she apologized she asked if he accepted and he did , but he said they could no longer "flirt" or anything of the sort because he had got a girlfriend in the short period of time.
of course she had to say she was happy for him , because she was. but soon after she couldn't feel happy about the situation at all. she started to wish it hadn't have happened
even if he was happy , she couldn't be. he would no longer text her so she had to spark up conversations. and when she did he'd be dry so she would just stop texting him regardless.
so she opened his text , being curious of what he had to say. her eyes intensely stared at the loading page as it loaded his dm.

she knew she hadn't automatically accepted his apology but she felt wierd if she would've. something felt off , she felt a deep put in her stomach signaling her something was soon gonna go wrong.
the feeling of a happy bubbly feeling aswell as a pit in her stomach mixed as she awaited his reply.
seeing he saw it and she was typing she intensely looked at the screen. they continued to text back and forth that day , they'd eventually spent hours talking to each other.
so it went on the next day , and the day after that. but it soon after ended up dying down once again. she didn't know how to start what she wanted to say so she sent a random video , which resulted in her getting left on seen
of course she didn't think much of it because it didn't bother her at that point , they were doing good right ? so him leaving her on seen wasn't too big of a deal.
but when it started happening everytime she'd text him it annoyed her , but if she asked she thought she'd be jumping in too much , it wasn't too big of a deal , or maybe it wasn't something she needed to worry about. he'd occasionally text back but it wasn't as exciting as normally
so that's when she stopped. she'd just say good morning , how are you , how's you sleep and goodnight. so sometimes she'd try and say other things to spark up different conversations , but the same thing would happen. she didn't know what happened.
it was a short time span between when they were doing really good then when he started being dry. so she had no clue of why it happened because it was only a day or two , there wasn't anything she could've done so she ran back through their messages. she just saw them having normal conversations so she had no clue what'd happened.
they just talked often about random things she saw on tiktok , memes and other things. she could talk to him about it but she didn't know what to talk to him about , "what's wrong ?" it wouldn't be getting to the point she wanted it to get to.
she thought maybe she was talking too much , or forcing a conversation. but maybe it was cause he was back with his girlfriend. she had no idea but the thoughts raced throughout her head. but the one that stuck with her was that he'd got back with his girlfriend , or got a new girlfriend.
because when he was with his girlfriend the same things happened , whenever they talk , which would be very rare he'd be dry. but she didn't want to bring it up because he was happy.
she also didn't want to say anything because she didn't know why it bothered her , was it because he stopped talking to her ? or was it because maybe she'd liked him for the longest time. she would always push it away because she didn't think he liked her back. now she could be sure of it.
so the only other reason was that she'd talk to much , so she decided she would say sorry and maybe she'd find out why they weren't talking.
all she could do was apologize , if she said what'd she do wrong it wouldn't see if he thought she talked too much so it was the only way she could get her point across. and that's what she did.
closing her phone after putting it on do not disturb she grabbed her remote switching over to netflix putting on a random show as she felt her eyelids get heavy.
she was wrong.
he didn't think she talked too much.
but was he back with his girlfriend ?
