I love the airport early in the morning and late at night, its so quiet and peaceful.

We go through security and head to our gate. Once we find a seat, I get out my phone and book, plug in my headphones and start reading. Am I completely aware that I have a perfectly functioning pair of airpods sitting in the same pocket these headphones were in? Yes. Did I still choose them for the aesthetic? Also yes.

It's five in the morning and I don't expect any of my friends to be awake, so it shocks me when I hear a snapchat notification. I'm less shocked however, when it's Dylan.

"Hannah, what do you want from the breakfast place across the walkway? You've been volunteered to stay at our seats." Katelyn asks and I look up to see her and my Nana grabbing her wallet from the backpack.

"Oh you know what I want, but thanks for volunteering me, I actually don't want to get up."

"So you want a plain toasted bagel with strawberry cream cheese?" Katelyn asks and I can hear the joking annoyance in her voice.

"Yes ma'am, thank you."

"We'll be back mija, watch your surroundings, please." Nana says, clearly unaware that there are currently three other people sitting in our row of seats. But I tell her I will and turn back to my phone.

We pull up as I'm sending the text and I walk inside preparing for the pretty boring next half-hour. When I get inside I sit on the couch and pull my phone out. Katelyn responded along with a handful of other psychopaths up at this hour.
