Part 4: Dress Shopping

"I'm not trying that on," you laughed in disbelief as your mom held out a dress to you. You and your mom were out shopping when you came across a wedding store and seeing as though your mother had become obsessed with the concept of you getting married, she convinced you to go inside and browse the selection of dresses.

"Why not? It's so pretty and elegant," she frowned.

"And way too over the top," you giggled. "I'm looking for something simple but still pretty," you explained and your mom sighed as she put the dress back on the rack.

"Well, what about this one?" Your mom showed you a dress that had off the shoulder straps, a minimal amount of beading, and flared out at the skirt.

"It's beautiful mom," you exclaimed, taking the dress out of her hands. You went into a changing room and quickly put the dress on, and once you stepped back out, your mom audibly gasped.

"What do you think?" You asked as you held your arms out.

"I think Jin is going to love it," your mom smiled as she wiped tears out of her eyes.

Min Yoongi

"So do you know what type of dress you're looking for today?" The saleswoman asked you. You and your best friend were at one of the best bridal shops in Korea which was all thanks to Yoongi, who had arranged for you two to be treated like VIP guests.

"Um, I'm not sure exactly what style but I'd really like for it to have lace," you explained. The saleswoman nodded and wrote that down on a small notepad.

"Well, I'll go pull some choices for you based on that. You can wait here." You nodded and sat down on the small loveseat, your best friend following behind you.

"I never would've thought you'd want a lacy type of dress," your best friend said.

"Yoongi likes me in lace. He says it compliments my skin," you shrugged.

"What type of lace are you wearing for him Y/N?" She nudged your shoulder, making you laugh.

"Don't ask questions that you really don't want the answer to," you replied. The saleswoman came back then, carrying a few dresses and you got up and went into the changing room. Glancing over them, you find a dress that basically looks to be covered in lace. You hurriedly grabbed it and slipped into it, stepping out of the dressing room once you were done.

"Damn Y/N," your best smiled. "You look fucking amazing in that dress."

"You think so? You don't think it's too sexy?" You asked, biting your lip.

"Hell no! Yoongi is going to love it," she assured you.

"I love it too," you sighed, looking in the mirror. "I can't believe I'm going with the first dress I've tried on," you laughed. "But I'll take it."

Kim Namjoon

"The wedding is in a park so I want it to be very sweet, and pretty," you explained to your mom. She nodded and you both continued to look through the racks. Once you and your mom found a few choices, you went into the dressing room.

One of the dresses was silky and you realized that you hated how the material looked on the hanger. The second dress, which your mom picked out, had a high low style hem and you thought that was inappropriate for a wedding. The third dress, you immediately smiled once you saw it. It had a sweetheart neckline, was strapless, and had beading all over it. You quickly took it off the hanger and tried it on.

"Are you ready sweetie?" Your mom called out. You opened the door to the dressing room and slowly walked out, being careful of the small train. Your mom's eyes teared up and she quickly fanned them.
