As the air rushed into her lungs, Bonnie once again woke up alone in Kol's room, wearing his shirt. Looking outside the balcony window, she saw that the morning light had slowly started seeping in through his dark curtains. That dream with Liv had been so vivid. She would have ordinarily thought it was only that, a vivid dream derived of her own imagination. But, considering all she'd been through, she figured it was an actual visit. Liv was going to get her out of here, she just needed to be patient. Until then she'd focus on the present and survival, as she didn't know if Kol would turn into a beast again with Bonnie's blatant defiance.

Bonnie pinned her curls back before she trudged downstairs. Once she reached the bottom-most step, she heard a grunting sound. She followed it to find Kol shirtless, only in gym shorts, doing pull-ups on a bar propped in a doorway of his den. He did one last lift when she came into view, then dropped down.

"The little witch has risen. How did you sleep?" He asked, grabbing a hand towel laid out on a nearby console table. He used it to pat dry the sweat off his chest as Bonnie looked away awkwardly. She didn't need to see him all sweaty and enticing, not wanting anything else to place him in more of a favorable view.

"I slept fine," Bonnie leaned back against the wall and crossed her arms over her chest, eyeing the floor. "My dress is ruined and I don't have anything else to wear." She said, pulling the hem of his shirt she wore.

The towering vampire -she was still getting used to the fact that Kol was a bloodsucking vampire, who had in fact, drank her blood- crossed the room until he stood before Bonnie.

She raised her chin and met his gaze. Kol caged her in with both hands on the wall on either side of her. Bonnie glared up at him, intent on presenting a fearless front. Showing her palms in frustration, she took a slight step forward, bumping her chest to Kol. "I need clothes!"

She heard a latch click and then a door she didn't notice was at her side opened. Kol smirked and pulled out a red silk robe and handed it to Bonnie, taking a step backward.

"You'll find a full wardrobe prepared for you in your quarters. That would be on the east wing. It has been equipped with everything you'll need for your stay," Kol nodded towards the second set of stairs. Bonnie stepped around him and hurried to and up the stairs. Once she'd found her room, which was the master bedroom adjacent to Kol's on the west wing of his home, she entered the bathroom and stripped off his shirt, and stepped into the shower of the adjoining on-suite.

In the shower, she turned the water on cold in order to dissuade the thoughts that were brewing in her mind. Things she had to be out of her mind to even consider. The notion that during her last two intimate sessions with Kol, he had treated her splendidly well. It was almost hard to remember their previous romps, except that of course was burned into her core memory as a traumatic experience. If Bonnie was being completely honest with herself, the fact that he was now so gentlemanly with his touch was a relief, but traumatizing as well.
