"I really wish you could, but you heard the Doctor.."

"Fuck rules." I'm able to break rules in school, of course I'll break rules for Kirishima's wellbeing. Besides aren't they made to be broken?

"For real? You're gonna sneak in? Hell yeah!"

"It's not sneaking in if you never left." I smirked and climbed over him, hiding beside the bed.

"All you have to do is not be dumb and make it obvious. Play it cool and I won't get caught."

Kirishima nodded and turned his body towards the door. The Doctor peaked inside the room, "The kid left? Good, that means you should get to sleep. Oh and don't worry, you wont be in here for too long. We just need to monitor your eye. I'll turn off the light if you'd like."

"Yeah..Oh uhm, can you tell my Mom that Bakugou left on his own? He didn't want a ride home"

"Sure thing, sleep well." The doctor said as he turned the light off and shut the door

And just like that; we were alone. I climbed onto the bed and laid behind Kirishima. He was cold and his face was damp. He was shaking still too. I rested my head against his shoulder which seemed to calm his nerves a little.

"Thank you."

"What?"

"I said thank you Bakugou. For everything."

"Don't get all sappy on me, jeez." He laughed but continued on.

"I mean..no offense, but you were the last person I thought to ever help me out, but the first to actually commit to it." I rolled my eyes and scoffed. "And you gave your money to help, brought me here too."

"Is there a point to this conversation or..." I asked sarcastically as he turned to face me.

"The point is, Thank you Bakugou." He smiled brightly, those sharp teeth clanking one another."

"I'm just tired, though. You don't mind if I..." without letting him answer I pushed his head against my chest which seemed to have been what he wanted, cause he wrapped his arms around mine. We were hugging. It was an odd position since we were laying on our sides but neither of us minded.

It was pure silent for a moment. We just laid in each others arms, the luminescent moonlight hitting his face.

I thought he has went to sleep already but he spoke, voice more shaky than before. Which confused me.

"Is this ever gonna end Bakugou?" I stayed silent because I had no clue what he meant by that. "My pain."

"I know I won't ever see clearly again, but..." he sniffled a little, hiding his face in my chest still.

"It's December, and the doctor estimates in 2 months I'll go completely blind. Before that...can we just go look at pretty things before I can't anymore?"

I continued to stay silent. Was it this hard for him?

This conversation was too depressing for me. But more so for him. My gut ached as I placed my face into his hair, pressing my lips against his head.

"Whatever you want, I'll be there with you. I'll be your eyes, I'll be yours."

"What does that mean?"

"..." I don't say a word. I can't say a word.

"Thank you, anyway Bakugou. Thank you."

I should be thanking you for helping me see the world in your eyes.

Thank you.
