Professor Octavius- 'Hey Y/n, meet me at the library at 2:00, I think I have discovered a way of getting my research back from Connors.'

Me- 'Alright, awesome, see you at 2.'

Professor Octavius- 'See you then!'

I checked the time, 11:33, alright I have a while before I meet up with Octavius. I decided that getting ready now might be a better plan then later. Putting some natural makeup on just super light, I let my hair down today, hoping it wasn't windy. I put together a nice outfit, not too formal but not too casual, somewhere perfectly in between. A pair of jeans with a laced, white shirt and some Converse. I looked back at the time 12:23. I decided to tidy up the house a little bit, putting dishes away, vacuuming, washing some clothes, I liked a clean house, but sometimes it's hard to maintain because of school. I checked the time once more and it was 20 till 2 so I just set on going early. I drove this time, taking my car out for the first time since I've gotten here. I drove down to the library and just browsed through the romance section while I waited for Octavius to arrive.

"I never found you as the type to read romance," A voice said behind me startling me.

"Ahh, gosh you can't scare me like that!" I scolded him.

"Oh, but I can, it's fun watching you jump." he gave me a sly, playful smirk.

"Oh, is it now?" I returned the playful tone.

He kept smirking at me, so I motioned as if I was going to hit him with the book I had tucked under my arm. He then grabbed my wrists with one and held them, so I was restricted, and with the other hand, he forced me to let go of the book.

"Hey, let me go." My face flushed a bright red.

"Not until you apologize for your attitude." He still had my wrists in hand.

"I'm sorry I almost hit you with a book." I said, apologizing with tone.

"Hmm, that's better." He said laughing while releasing my wrists.

"And for your information, I love romance." I said mocking him and I picked up my pace, walking ahead of him.

He laughed once and shook his head at my behavior. A few moments later we went and sat down at a table towards the back of the library so no one could hear us.

"Okay Y/n, I hacked into Connors computer, and I made a copy of his schedule, now it seems that at 7:00 tonight, he has a date planned. I was thinking we could sneak into his lab and steal my research back." he sounded excited almost.

"Sir, you do realize what Connors did was not okay but what you want to do is illegal and it could get the cops involved." I was concerned for this man, goodness.

He sighed before responding to me, "Yes I understand that Y/n, but this is my life's work, I can't let some guy take it away from me. I trust you and I want your help." he sounded as if he was begging.

"Okay but promise you won't do anything stupid." I exhaled deeply.

"Pff me, stupid, now where did you get an idea like that?" he said jokingly. "Anyways, would you like to come over to my house and wait there until we go tonight, we can revise the plan as well?" He offered.

"Sir, sometimes I think you forget I'm your student, but yes I would love too." this man did seem oddly comfortable around me.

He chuckled and we both stood up to continue browsing for a little while before leaving. I returned to the romance section while he made his way to the science section, which was on the other side of the shelf. Hah, nerd. I proceeded to pick up this book and read the description of it, then I saw that Octavius was staring at me from between two books on the other side. He smiled at me, and I couldn't help but laugh at his demeanor. I felt it again, I felt my face get red, like when we pushed me into the closet, or grabbed my wrists. I squinted my eyes at this trying to get rid of these thoughts.
