1. PROLOGUE
Does this m*ther f*cker didn't know when to stop? Dryce threw his cellphone at his executive secretary/bodyguard/best friend, Marco Ruiz. He would have liked to throw it on the wall. But he remembered that Marco had just bought the cell phone after he smashed the old one because of his uncontrollable temper.
His anger heats up because of the frequent ringing of his phone due to the repeated calls of his Grandfathers EA/son. Traves De Luna. Traves was adopted by his grandfather when he was young. And what annoyed him was that Traves was only two years older than him, but his grandfather made that bastard his uncle.
Why don't you just go? Just show up to your Grandpa for a few minutes. Then you leave. Isn't that all he wants? Marco advised him even though the young man knew Dryce would not listen to him.
And now you're telling me what to do? He asked in a baritone voice.
Marco swallowed hard in no time. When Dryce's tone was like this, everyone around him would taste his anger - especially him.
"It's not like that, bro. It's just that, you know ... your grandfather is brutal, especially if you don't take him seriously. I'll be the one to receive his torture, not you. Don't you feel sorry for me? Ha?" Marco knew he had a point, and Dryce knew that too.
But the problem is Dryce. Hes too stubborn. He tends to challenge the elder De Luna. They are both hot-headed, maybe because they have the same blood running in their veins. But, they also don't want to destroy each other. Or perhaps that's their way to show each other that they care.
Everyone who knows George Dryce Kwon of Kwon Corporation understands that the young man will not bow to anyone. He eliminated everyone who opposed him except his grandfather Don Alejandro De Luna of the De Luna Empire.
The truth is, Dryce is very capable of destroying his Grandfather based on his capability as a businessman. Still, he doesn't want to do it because the old man is the only family he has left. And that's also the old man's reason why he didn't want to harm his only grandson. Dryce is the only one left to him by his bereaved daughter Camilla. Dryce's mother.
Dryces business is focused on the financial field. No one knows how big and extensive his business is. But everyone knows that Kwon Corporation is one of the big pillars of the industry.
In a short time, his name quickly became known in the business world because of the companies he helped and brought down. He helps grow falling companies that he knows he can use in his other business. And he is bringing down companies he knows will be obstacles to his plan.
Dryce has invested in various business types, whether legal or illegal, small or large, as long as he can benefit.
His main goal is to become the most well-known financier in the country. He wanted everyone to bow their heads when they saw him. And most of all, he wanted to prove to his grandfather that he could surpass all that his Grandfather had accomplished in life.
Dryce is also one of the youngest recognized billionaires in Asia. He is just 27-years old and one of the hottest bachelors in the Country.
But, Dryce is also known as a cold-hearted man because he doesnt care how others might feel, especially when he is angry. He hates people who just want to use his name and are desperate for attention and money. Dryce is also disgusted with hypocrites who like to pretend that they are kind, but the truth is they will just use you. And lastly, he loathes traitors.
Dryce is not a good man. But he indeed doesn't pretend to be one.
If there is a bad side, there is always a good one. People respect him for being true to himself and to everyone around him. He is always straight to the point and does not pretend to get what he wants. Lets just say that what you see is what you get is his moral.
