Y/n's POV:
I awaited the responce that the tired-looking teacher was about to reveal. I didn't know many people in the class yet, so I hope that whoever I get paired up with is nice, and maybe we could become friends..? I snapped out of my thoughts as Aizawa finally called the name.
" Our last pair will be Y/n and.. Kaminari." I looked around the room to spot a Pikachu-looking boy waving at me excitedly, a bright smile plastered on his face. I smiled back, waving sheepishly. He seems nice! Aizawa then told us to find our partners, and get to know them a bit more. Then he would explain our assignment. I slowly stood up out of my seat, but before I could even take a step, the energetic blonde was at my desk. I fell back into my chair, startled.
" Agh! I'm sorry if I scared you!" He scratched his nape, looking a bit embarrased. I looked up at him and grinned softly. " It's no big deal! Don't worry about it." He lowered his hand from his neck and grinned back. My lips parted as I said " My name is Y/n L/n, and you are Kaminari, right..?" He stood confidently, putting his hands on his hips as he declared. " That is correct! I am Denki Kaminari, the best partner you could ever wish for." He quickly flashed a thumbs up, and I began to laugh aloud at his childish actions. He laughed back, and we sat there laughing for a bit. After I got over the fit, I asked " So, what's your quirk?" He slid onto my desk as he sat there silent for about a minute. His lips parted and he responded, " My quirk is Electrification. It allows me to generate electricity and manipulate it to a certain extent." As he was talking, he was tapping his chin lightly with his pointer finger, which showed that he was deep in thought. I started to laugh again, as I stated, " You really had to think for a whole minute just to say that?!" I held my stomach from the abrupt laughter as the lightning blonde frowned " Hey! That's rude!" He crossed his arms and pouted while I still laughed like crazy. I suddenly heard a sharp slap on my desk, and I looked up at Sensei Aizawa, his face full of seriousness while mine was all red from a lack of oxygen, and my eyes were watering. I tried my best to calm down, and when I finally did, Sensei went to the front of the class.
" So this is your assignment."
