A young female in her late 20's was in her home in her kitchen drinking coffee while making a reservation for her parents for her dad's birthday. The place she was reserving was an expensive restaurant which wasn't a problem since her job payed well as a doctor.

"Please come tonight mom, I have a surprise for you and dad. I'm sure you'll love it." Charlie said with a smile as she looks at her computer seeing the approval of the restaurant ready for them tonight for the birthday.

"Oh alright honey, anyway how's work?" Her mother said with a sigh and Charlie smiles.

"Everything is good at the hospital but...my marks started to burn for some reason. When I was seeing a patient in her room and checking on her vitals a felt this heat right on my marks." Charlie said with a frown as she touch her marks which she had two on her rib cage, one her neck that she hides with a chocker and the last one on her back which was big compared to the other three she had.

"Oh sweetheart I wish I knew what all of those were so I could tell you what they mean. I'm not really much of a help when it comes to your marks, did anything else happen?" She asked and Charlie hums with a thought but her eyes widen as she remembered something.

"Apparently some doctors say that a couple of creatures where seen in the hospital trying to keep some kid alive. Those assholes threw them away because they didn't have insurance at all along with the kid, can you believe that!" Charlie said with a huff as she remembered hearing some of her fallow friends. "Did they really had to throw them out like that? But I'm sure their dead because the doctor that took them in had throw them through the building." Charlie said as she touched her skull mark.

"Oh wow, they really did that? Now I really hope they get what they deserve for throwing them out like that." Her mom said. "Anyway it was nice hearing you sweetheart, I'll have to get in class soon. Don't worry I will make sure that me and your father will be in time for the surprise." Her mom said.

"Alright see you later mom, say hi to the kids for me." Charlie said with a smile and ends the call and gets up from the chair to get ready for today at work.

________ [Mary narrating]

"I was a good person and a good mother, before it all went down... I was good my entire life."

Mrs. Mayberry looks down at her phone seeing the text that her daughter send when the surprise will be. She puts it down with a smile and opens the curtains to her class seeing two birds chirping at the happy atmosphere.

She goes to the blackboard to write good morning with a smile feeling happy today.

"Good morniiiiiiiing!" Mrs. Mayberry in a sing song as she twirls around and catches the piece of chalk smiling at the students.
