I watched over Jessie's shoulder as he drew. I didn't know what he was drawing, but then again I don't know if he did either.

"Oh~ Is this a drawing party? Mind if I join?"

Great, just what I needed. Couldn't go a month without running into that damn clown.

"Hey Jack! Look what I drew!" Jessie sat up, showing L.J the drawing he had been working on. "It's a blob person!"

Jack smiled at him, helping him pin the drawing to the wall.

"It looks amazing kiddo! How about you run downstairs and get some extra art supplies?" The kid nodded, walking out the door and heading down the hall. I stood up from my spot on the ground, leaning against the closest wall. L.J turned to me, giving me a smile. "I've been meaning to ask, what do you do with the kids you manage to keep away from me?"

I glared at him. Why did he always try to be 'friendly' with me? It always seemed to be a way to get under my skin.

"That is none of your concern. Much safer than with you I can guarantee that."

Now- that might not have been fully true- But at least I don't brutally murder the kids I befriend! And I genuinely wanted to be their friend! He chuckled, standing next to me against the wall. I stepped away from him, putting more distance between us (which only seemed to fuel his smugness).

"Ya know, I find it funny that you paint me as the bad guy. You might play nice with the kids, but I can tell that's not all there is to it." he explained, stepping closer yet again, "You're a manipulative, controlling, jealous person, Jason. I see the dolls you give to the kids, I see the resemblance to their friends, I can tell they aren't just dolls. I will say, it's quite impressive how well you hide i-"

I turned to him, doing my best to grab him by the neck.

"Shut. Up." I hissed, "You don't know shit about me. You will never understand my motives or reasoning. If you f**king try that again, I will rip your f**king throat out."

His eyes widened in shock, reaching to grab my wrist. That quick burst of confidence mixed with my rage quickly fizzled out, causing me to pull my hand back. I walked to the opposite side of the room, sitting down against that wall. Jack finally snapped out of his moment of shock and just- laughed. I couldn't tell if it was at me, at my reaction, at the fact I literally just threatened him, or- what.

"It looks like I stuck a nerve there, Doll." he taunted.

"I'm back with pencil crayons, paint, and crayons!" Jessie called, coming back into the room.

I took a deep breath, trying to quickly calm myself. I sat down at the small table he had set up, doing my best to hide my hands until they changed back. We'd deal with this at a more fitting time.

L.J's POV

I reached to grabbed the wrist of his hand. I knew I'd most likely get him riled up but- Damn! All I could do was stare. His eyes glowed a bright emerald green, his hands blackened and his claws digging into my skin. It was- impressive actually. He pulled back, walking all the way to the other side of the small bedroom. I couldn't help but laugh. He had actually just threatened me! And it had actually startled me! He could be real intimidating when pushed hard enough. Even after Jessie got back he casted a glare my way a few times. Still, I couldn't help but be impressed. He hid his true intentions well, he knew how to pretend to be the perfect friend, and he could actually be intimidating. Maybe he'd be a bit more bearable now.
