Chapter 5 - He's Back / The Mysterious Prisoner

Y/n's POV:

Y/n stared out of her window at the yard below her. She gasped at the sight of an uhaul truck sitting in front of her next door neighbor's house. "WHAT? Nobody's lived there in years! Not since..." she paused. "...him." She watched cautiously at the truck, waiting for people to walk out of it and see her stupid new neighbors. First, she saw a young man in a red shirt and khakis. He glanced up at her window and caught her staring. While she flipped him off, he smiled and waved. Next out of the truck was a woman dressed in all white with brown hair and a blue headband. She thought she recognized them, but she couldn't be sure. Then she gasped. No. NO! Him..! He was back. B-but...he...ugh! Y/n pounded her fist against the window at the sight of him. Her childhood best friend, Geico Lizard. He stared up at her window, a curious expression in his eyes. When he saw her, his eyes widened in surprised. Y/n mouthed at him "Why are you surprised, idiot? You're the one that moved away, not me." He just mouthed back "what?" with a friendly smile. She flipped him off. He smiled even wider, before he picked the couch back up and carried it inside, all alone. Y/n blushed. She decided to call Lil Buc-ee she needed to talk to him right now. But when she called his number, an unfamiliar voice answered. "This is Police Chief Ferguson. Mr. Firepaw has been arrested. Please leave a message after the beep." Y/n dropped the phone, her hand still shaking next to her ear in shock.

Lil Buc-ee's POV:

Prison wasn't as bad as Lil' Buc-ee thought it would be. The police were mean to him (>:C) but at least he had a nice cell mate. They even shared a bed. The cellmate had introduced himself as Chip the wolf. "What are you in for?" he had asked. Lil' Buc-ee found out he was in for stealing Cookie Crisp cereal. When he told Chip about why he was in chip didn't seem scared and actually seemed ok with it and they hugged. Lil' Buc-ee blushed, but didn't think anything of it. Everything was fine until one day little Bucky heard screaming in the prison hallway and when he got to the scene of the crime he saw chip being beaten up by Bongo the monkey (post redesign). Lil bucee was so overcome with rage that he punched bongo until he was laying unconscious on the ground. Chip thanked Lil Buc-ee nervously. Suddenly, their faces were mere inches apart. Lil Buc-ee really wanted to kiss him...but he didn't because no homo.

Geico Lizard's POV:

Geico Lizard couldn't believe his luck! His childhood bestie, y/n, still lived here! Squeeeee! He had been in love with her ever since he moved away. He had stalked her Instagram, but one day she randomly deleted it, breaking his heart, and he hadn't seen her since. Seeing her in the window had made his heart skip a beat. Squee! He was so unbelievably excited!!! He couldn't wait to hang out with her again! 😃
