The Omega

Chapter 1

       "Chey!!!! Where is my cute little mini skirt? I want to wear it to the party!" Rose calls out.
      "Rose, do you really think that a mini skirt would be a very appropriate outfit. Tonight is a formal party. Evening gowns. Diamonds. The whole nine yards. Not miniskirts, drinking until you pass out. My parents spent a long time planning this for me. Your party can a rager. But mine is going to be a formal event." I explain to Rose. She is the major party girl type. "Rose, even if I wanted a huge house party, I couldn't have one. My dad is the gamma and both the Alpha and the beta will be there. I can't make a fool of myself at a party like that."
    "Why not? Is it because Declan is going to be there?" Rose asks mischievously. Declan Moon is the soon to be Alpha of the pack. But I haven't fallen head over heals for him like most girls. I have a boyfriend, Jace. My parents have already decided that he was going to be my mate. My parents have been planning this for a long time.
    "First of all, I don't like Declan. Second, I have a boyfriend, Jace. Third, I'm happy with going to be the delta." I try to say calmly. Who does this girl think I am?
   "Okay. Okay. I'm sorry for saying anything." Rose joked. After we got dressed in proper attire for the party, we head down to the pack house and  get ready for tonight. Tonight is the official first moon of my 16th year. So tonight is when I get to meet my inner wolf and when I get to finally mate. 16 marks the adulthood of us wolves. So when we turn 16 we move out and such.
     As I wall up to the pack house, in my 5 inch, black stilettos. And my dark purple evening gown with a plunge neck line and one shoulder. We walk in, and everyone is dressed so formally. I find my older brother, Bentley and his mate, Casey. I have never seen two people more in love then they are. Bentley immediately walks over to me and picks me up and swings me around in his bone crushing hug.
   "Can't...... Breathe....." I say dramatically. Bentley put me down and kissed my forehead. "I missed you big brother." I say to him. He smiles down at me.
    "Baby girl, I missed you too. But you know I'm not too far away. When you learn to control your phasing, you can come with us on our runs." Bentley says sweetly.
    We walk to the kitchen and then this scent hits me. It's so powerful and wonderful, I just have to follow it.
   I wonder away from the crowd and find myself walking outside. I feel a burning hot sensation all over my skin. I suddenly feel my bones shifting painfully and my dress tears apart. I look up at the full moon, and I smile. But suddenly the scent gets stronger. I can't even describe it. I start running. Nothing is stopping me. I run to a creek and I look in the water, I lean down and take a drink. I am shocked when I see my reflection. There is a beautiful white wolf staring back at me, with ice cold blue eyes.
      I hear a twig snap behind me and a pitch black wolf with chocolate brown eyes steps out of the shadows, and I am suddenly stunned when that wonderful scent smothered me and the disappeared.
     "Mate" my inner wolf screams at me. The wolf stares at me wide eyed. We circle each other, and then he strides to me. We fall asleep on the forest floor, together.
